Were doing ok now. We had a scare, some nosy neighbors called our landlord so we had to move our girls for a week or so. But i think were safe now and they have been flowering for week and half and look great.

We will have an update soon with pics, oh and we have 5 for 5 girls

Shit what was the neighbors complaint?? smell, sound?? did your landlord come in your house??

sound was the complaint, they heard us talking about temperatures and assumed the rest apparently. we let our landlord come check it out after we cleaned everything up and moved the girls and he was satisfied but boy was it a pain taking down all of our shit and putting it back up.

were getting a card later this week so that will be comforting.

Hearing this kind of thing is why I love where I live: in the middle of 10+ acres with a 500ft driveway, BLM on two sides and the only time I can even hear the neighbors is when they're shooting. So what do you guys have to do to get a card?? You going to be able to post any more pics??

getting a medical card is pretty easy, just make an appointment with a doc that is known for prescribing weed and tell them you have anxiety or sleeping problems. 100$ or so and you have a med card.

Yeh we will post pics again but my roommate has the camera on vaction so when he gets back friday ill post some pics.

Update:

Girls are huge most are over 2 ft.
I just got our cloner setup and running. and took three clones.

Question: we've been flowering for about 2 weeks, will there be any effect on the clones since im setting them back to 24/0?

------the only effects from taking clones from a flowering plant is that you may shock/stress the plant, put it back a bit.......your not that far in so you may not notice a thing. As far as the clones themselves, it will take more time to root them so make sure your conditions are right and stable. If there are any hairs or preflowers on them already you may want to trim them off to encourage veg growth----that's what'll add the extra time: getting them back into veg mode....... I 've taken clones from a girl in full flower for comparison and it took 20 days to root, and this is a strain that nornally roots for me in 6-8 days.......

From what I understand about our state is that there are only two places to get the med cards..... and it sounds like you really have to prove medical need. Other than that it's pretty easy to get "Medical Provider" statis.....but I am not even sure about that. I do know the laws are pretty nice about the quanities you can have........

So was thinkin we had all girls but now that i actually look and think, 3 of them are prob male. The two the are female, have been buddin for 1+ and the others don't have any white hairs or anything.

I can't really see any balls on them however, i might need a mag lense to see them.

Ok so this is my new diagnosis. I think we have three plants that are unsexed and 1 girl and 1 boy.

yeh the male is a gonner and as for the others guess we will wait till we can better tell.

Update: We have been flowering for nearly 3 weeks and our bag seed looks great. buds are covered in hairs.

Problem: None of the durban plants have started budding except for the one male that we throw out a few days ago.

We can barely see anything on the nodes of the durbans. too small to tell without a magnifying glass

Question: why could these be taking so long to start flowering?

Ill put of some pics tomorrow promise.

Durban Poison is a very strong strong sativa plant. They naturally develop slower then indicas. Take my grow for example, my aks (indica) already have very nice buds forming with plenty of resin to follow, well as the haze/skunk (both haze and skunk are like pure sativa so you can guess what theyd be mixed) are developming much slower. As long as you have been able to determine sex, dont worry, the buds will start to thicken up in time, welcome to flowering here is the waiting game...

p.s.

Thats why most sativas have a much longer flower period... I will be harvesting my aks around 8-9 weeks of flower give or take. For my haze ill be giving them a full 12 weeks of flower. Just different genetics.

^^^^Thanks for the reply. I know sativas take longer but 3 weeks and barely having sexed? if this is normal for durban than this is gonna be a long flowering.

another thing is that the last DP's must be female, males shows sex about a week or so earlier =P

sativas take about 10-12 weeks to flower maybe more depending on enviroment

oh yeah id def. give a full 12 weeks for ur dp's... you know keep an eye on your trichs since you have a microscope, but still... its gunna be awhile

its weird my durban and WW are budding(sativas) and my blueberry and himalayan gold arent yet (indicas) ... added them both to my flower rm at same time
