First Grow Deficiency problems

Week 3 veg
Just started Dyno grow(2 feedings I just ordered fox farms kit)
Temp 77 81 highest fans
Humidity 40low 55high
18-6schedule
Tap water was used first 2 weeks before I started using Aqua cleaner(fishtankshi)
I'm using fox farm soil planting mix I'm preparing to transition them to 5gbuckets
I did purchase a pH tester it will b here Friday along with hydrophonics pH up down
I brought a horrible soil kit from Walmart I followed instructions to a T
It came back my pH was higher than 7.0 my nitrogen was darker(higher) than the what was listed
I'm screwing up some where and between all the reading I'm coming up with calcuim as a possible because high nitrogen n pH out of wack I have no fkn clue please someone save me

Or high calcium, hence the high pH. I assume nitrogen toxicity would pH relatively low.. It could be legitimately nitrogen deficient. I'm kind of stumped. How much water do you give it? And definitely switch back to tap water.

Yea looks like toxicity, but hard to say. I'd switch back to the regular tap water at least until you get new growth that looks good and the problem stops spreading. It's young so it should recover. Idk what soil test kit you got from wally-world but I'd never trust a soil test myself. Just make sure your water is pH'd and everything, pHing the soil is not really a reliable way of trying to figure out what the problem is

When watering my plants I go a knuckle deep if soil is dry I pour enough so roots can feed but not over kill I be been scared to drown or sulphecate roots I also fear under watering but I generally water every other day depending on how much water I use my previous day

Yes problem is I noticed color and rough curl up leaves about a week ago before I started using aquasafe but one the I noticed after using aquasafe other plants are having random spots so yeah I agree I'll pH flush the damaged one and stop using that damn aquasafe . go back tap and sitting it out for 24hrs

Looks like heat stress to me with the way the leaves are curling up along the outsides on first sight but I don't know what lights are being used. With watering, fill up another same size pot with the medium straight out the bag and compare the weight with the one the plant is in. If the MJ plant pot is just a little heavier than the comparison pot, it's watered enough. Little lighter, more water needed. This is how I started out growing and it worked well for me. Obviously you cant do this once the plant has started flowring though.

I would wait a little while until you get a good root system built up until moving them to the larger pot. No point in stressing the little gal out more than it already is.

Since I'm transitioning to 5gallons I'll give it new soil and pH leveled. Do you recommend me flushing it before I transfer or after

1000w 20inchfrom top of plant . I don't think its heat burn its the only one like this

I wouldn't flush at all, I'd just water with plain pH'd water for awhile. You're not at the point of flushing imo but I've always considered flushing overkill anyways. Usually if you just water with plain water your plant will recover faster than if you did a flush

1000W is a lot for a 3 week vegging lassie but if it's the only one, maybe it's just in a hot spot. Although not all plants grow exactly the same as each other even if they are in the same medium, same environment etc. I have some purple bud vegging under cfl's. They are all great looking except for one which is a bright yellow lol. No idea why

overwatered...then the limp over watered leaves got scorched by the lights...this plant isnt very happy. No feed, light waterings, top dress with FF soil that you have

Think I should turn down ballast? Thought more light meant bigger yeild in long run

If it's dimmable then yeah. That's what I would do personally. I start mine with cfl's, then 250hps and then up it gradually as the plants get larger. Your new growth looks ok but still the outside of the leaves are still curling somewhat.

Turn down the light, get lots of air moving around in there and try and raise your RH a little more. I'm not saying you need to do this, just what I would do.
