I would use FFOF for your soil.......and use 18/6 for your light cycle.....get rid of that MG bro.....it's useless.....

Being on a forum, you recognize the usefulness of the internet. You can order whatever you need online. Geographical proximity is no longer a factor. ;-)

well if you wanna go soiless.....then do a simple 5gal bucket dwc like I have going....pretty damn cheap and seems to be doing the job for me.....but if you wanna stick with soil then order the fox farm ocean forest online.....just a thought...

thanks. no suggestions on the lights? i have 2 cfls that dont heat up for nothing. they are 40watt bright white clfs i picked up from home depot. any suggestions on where to order good cfl online thats not to pricey?

Judging by the dimensions of your growspace I wouldn't recommend HPS. They really heat the shit out of a room (:
Sticking with CFLs is probably your best bet. Not very expensive, stays quite cool and can be kept close to the plants.

damn my cfls suck for some reason tho. im gonna have to get hps. ill update soon hopfully. by the way my baby still didnt sprout :(

Tin foil produces heat spots which may burn your plant. Possibly use Mylar or just white paint. Better then burning your little girls (:

is this one light good enough for one plant or do i have to use two?
I'd recommend picking up and using 2 of them for now and further on investing in a good HPS grow light. The CFL bulb I posted with the above link to is rated @ 5000K which would considered "Full Spectrum", simulating the visible and UV spectrum of natural light.

Check the ratings of the bulbs for CFL's being with the lumen's and kevlin temp that they give off, ideal is 6400K rating for "Grow" and 2700K for "Bloom".

Also as for the aluminum/tin foil i'd remove it and spray paint it flat white with a good 2-3 coatings.

The percent of light reflected for Aluminum Foil is 70-75%, where as Flat White Paint is rated @ 85-93% reflective. Much more effective.
