They aren't. The roots aren't even holding the soil together yet. That's the main reason I haven't transplanted them yet.

if they where under big lights i could see root issues but they have a slower root growth with smaller light. its hard to judge from above soil hight cause of the weeker lumens penetration so it will grow a bit taller. or slightly stretched compared to the hid light. so the above and below soil growth is kind of a bit different.

I wanted to try and get the side shoots to grow more than the top to keep height down and help it bush out more.

Get T5's instead of T12 if you go that route, much more light...

then id top instead of later training. thats more for later when we may run out of hight room. for a bunch of reasons.
it you open the upper most new growth and pinch off the small center shoot it will make a hormone balance change and cause lateral branching for what you want to do. i just did the same to all my seedings i have as well last night. my new top shoots have grown an inch over night.
by pinching/topping the main head off it now makes the tips of the branches become the new tops and will grow as the main stem was

its up to the plant if its better. some do better not touched at all. and is dependant on your room size if you can handle the more multiple heads if it was fimmed right. might be more squat but will take more width now to

Thank you. My second attempt at germin a Lowryder went well I think. I checke don it a few minutes ago and it had cracked. I went ahead and planted it this time instead of waiting for the taproot to come out.

Hell yea! Another Bama' boy growing up in hur. Haha, I know what you mean about getting supplies in this shit hole. Lowe's and Home Depot are about it and they're shady at best on most stuff. That's badass of you Cannabisworks for hooking my man up here. The grow looks well and it looks like a lot of experimenting and learning is happening so allow me to bow out and watch. I'm definitely subbed man and can't wait to see what you got.
