First Grow. CFL Journal.

Hello all. This is my first attempt at growing. I'm in college so I'm pretty damn broke. I would have purchased better equipment if I could. I figured what the hell I'm gonna try a cfl grow. I have A LOT of seeds saved up from throughout the years and I have one specific jar dedicated to popcorn and dro seeds that I have managed to come by. I germinated six seeds and threw them in some jiffy pots. I put those in a rubbermaid container lined with mylar and put plastic bags over the tops of them. They all sprouted and started growing rapidly. I was actually very surprised. Two had the seed cases stuck on them. I gave them a few days before removing the seed casing myself. It was too late for them. I pulled those two and replaced them. I vegged them all for about 5 weeks then moved them to another room with more space. I put them into flower and its been almost 2 weeks. I have five females and one male I believe. I am currently using nine cfls. Seven are 6500k and two are 2700k. Most are 23w but the 2700ks are 42w. I will add more light when I come by some more lamps. Hopefully these pictures will be ok. I took them with my smartphone. Any input is welcome. The first few pictures are from my closet when they were vegging. The remainder are from their current location during flowering. I apologize if the pictures are shitty. I wasn't quite sure what I was doing with all the photos.

Please don't hate on me for the Miracle Grow nutes. I have been doing pretty damn good with them so far. I realize a few of the plants looked rough in the beginning but that was because of a nitrogen deficiency. The other plant in the last picture looks a little rough because she grew so damn fast one night that a cfl was setting right on top of her.

Those ladies are looking good, but if you think there is a male, get that dude away from the girls, get him gone completely... Now I won't hate on the nutes, because you are probably aware that we all know there are some more viable options out there. CFLs work amazingly, you won't be disappointed in the results, but like you said more light and that should happen sooner than later if you can. Great looking first grow!

I finally decided to take some pictures of my girls. The one plant I thought was a male turned out to be a female! I have all girls! The only reason it took so long to sex is because it was a sativa. I have been giving them bloom nutes every other watering for a couple weeks now. They seem to be doing well. I increased the amount of lights to 13 from just 9. I am now running 11 2700k cfls and 2 6500k cfls. Most are 23w and 2 are 42w. Here are some pics! Aw. Stupid pics are all sideways! Lol. I apologize. I'm too lazy to fix it now.

I've been lazy lately so I figured I needed to take some pictures of my girls. They are in their 7th week of flowering. I stopped giving them nutes and began watering with rain water + 1Tbsp of molasses per gallon. I only have 5 plants now because the sativa went hermie on me and I didn't feel like dealing with that. I believe that 2 of my girls will be ready by Nov 5th, but the rest are going to need another week or two.

Starting to see some amberr! They look delicious man, def gonna be a nice smoke! I hope mine looks that good

Here are some more pics of my girls. This is the end of the 8th week of flowering. They are looking pretty good. Most are getting super frosty, but my pictures don't do them justice.

I hadn't updated my grow journal in about a month. I finished harvesting all of my plants and ended up with around 3.5 ounces. It turned out really good. The bud is a little fluffy which is why it didn't weigh out to more, but its all good. Here are a few pictures.
