Checked on my plants today and saw a slightly horrifying sight. My smallest plant started to grow into one of the lst ties (bent clothes hanger). I had to yank pretty hard to get it out, the stem definitely started growing around it. Because of this i checked the rest of the lst spots on all plants to make sure this wasnt happening anywhere else (its not) and loosed some of the ties. I think im gonna wait till my plants get over the top of the edge of the pot before i start training them anymore, hopefully that'll help with this problem as I'll be able to pull them to the sides instead of pinning straight down to the soil.

Pic of the damage... maybe it'll end up in a supercropped plant ^_^

I had this issue not to long ago, and since then i've switched to twine or small rope..

Ya, I switched to zip ties (a small loop with plenty of growing room around the plant) with string tied to that. The string can the be taut more as the plant grows.

Been really busy with school and work so I haven't been posting much but here's a quick update showing the comparison of what a week of training can do. Still in veg, thinking about going to flowering in about a week, opinions?

Plants B+C (i can no longer really take individual pics of these, theyre starting to blur into one bush lol... hope to god neither turns male on me or i will have some issues... never plant 2 to a pot lolol):

Definitely the plan haha. It's just already getting hard to see what's the main stem and what's not. I did a lil bit of trimming off some older/dead leaves to help a bit with that. These things are just straight up bushes. Still under 6" tall :)

Ya i waited quite awhile to trim said leaves. Most of them disintegrated when i rubbed them in my hands. NONE of them were getting shit for light and/or were blocking healthy looking tops. I'll check that out some other time... been trying to catch up for a test tomorrow. 4/5 chapters read... one more to go.

now on day 34/35ish. Cant remember exactly. Putting them in flower next friday i believe. They're about 3-4 inches tall (canopy wise... they;d be like 8 or so inches tall if i never did lst) and that's about 1/3 of my grow area so seems like the right time. I should have 10+ tops in each pot by then. More comparison pics tonight/tomorrow ^_^

Random question, is blowing smoke on your plants a bad thing? i didnt mean to but my cab has a natural suction and the bong rip just went straight to it....
