First Grow Box - Few Basic Questions

Hey guys,

Im brand new to the message board. Been smokin for about 4 years. I think im ready to start growing my own stuff. From what ive read, grow boxes obviously yield much less than an entire grow room. However, im trying to keep this project as stealthy as possible and im convinced a grow box will manage the smell much better. So here are a few questions i have before i jump head first into this. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there an ideal size grow box for certain lights?

How do you determine the size of carbon filter to use or lights?

Ive been reading different answers to the question how much will and indica plant yield?

Is 6-8 weeks a realistic crop duration?

Is it better to build a grow box or buy one?

If you have autoflowers, or absolutely no veg time, you could probably grow one crop every 9-10 weeks.

Yield on any plant (Indica or sativa) is very dependent upon the conditions the plant is grown, vegitation time, nutrition, watering, soil, etc...
That being said, a realistic expectation from an indica that isn't vegged at al,l or an autoflower, would be around .30 ounce to 2 ounces. If it's your first time growing, don't expect a big yield.

it would definatly be better to build a grow box, try a 4-1/2 foot wide 2 and a half foot deep by 4 foot tall box, that will do you well

get some warm white 4 foot flourecents in there and you'll be good to go
