Priceless. Babies are doin awesome. I had my first six poke out a few days ago, now I am going on 20, six left for 100% germination. Although, I doubt I will get all of them. I was pretty rough on them and they are over two years old! and shwag bag seeds! I am excited to see what these guys can do. :bigjoint:

I made my first purchases of the month. spending so far I have invested 75 bucks. I found all the lights around my house and make whatever else I need. Hope these guys make it all the way. I'll post some pics when I get their first leaves. Thanks to all the experienced growers on this forum for sharing their knowledge. It is through that that I will march on. For all you others GET READY CAUSE HERE I COME!

Here's how things are comin. Everyone got a little taller and I added some soil to the guys over an inch tall. I wanted to give them some extra support. I run a humidifier in the room when it is dry.

I set up my first hempy bucket. Will the soil shrink when watered? If anyone has experience with them please let me know. I have 2.5 gallon buckets I put in a 1 inch layer or vermiculite and then a 5.5 inch layer of permiculite. When I add the plants I will fill the buckets. I am trying about a 20 - 80 mix. If anyone has tried those mediums feel free to post up your experience.

For the record my name is Racecar. I live on the moon. I am experimenting with new Moon Based Reflective Surfaces 2 Produce Triple Cell Mass Multiplying Existential Paranormal Activity. MBRS2PTCMMEPA for short.

Whatever you think you may know about me you don't I have no connection to Earth and
I LIVE ON THE MOON

now to continue with the update...

Things have been running smooth, I love thinking about the delicious vegetables I will eat some day all day. I have contemplated adding daylight spectrum bulbs for the vegetative state. I will throw in four daylight bulbs and had for cool white spectrum bulbs. The daylight produce a light range of 65000K the cool white hit 41000K. Running eight 40 W bulbs. Also my MBRS2PTCMMEPA will basically blow your brains out so just hold on to your seat.

Here's things so far

Currently running 2 - 40W Fluorescent tube T12 style.

2 - 20W Cool White CFL's

Totally contained area with few light leaks for maximum production.

Budget so far $50

This is day 7 of production from seedlings. 22 out of 26 have sprouted. All are named and you will know them shortly. There is only room for nine so please help me decided who stays and who must go. I have to guess sex before flowering. The Big Kahuna is the tallest lady. she gets prime real estate next to the CFL then Khole and Kourtney sit next to her.

Alright that's all the fun for now.:hump:

No big updates today, looks like leaves have grown about 1/4 to 1/2 and inch overnight, looks like a possible Indica but may be to soon to tell the leaves are long and dense rather then spread out and fan like. I added one more 20 W CFL to help prevent the newest sprouts from stretching and bending. I need to transplant to hempy buckets but I want to wait for the right time. Anyone got tips on checking the root mass of seedlings? I don't want to shock them by shaking them all around.

They will be transplanted into hempy buckets late next week or two weeks from now when they have some good roots going. Hopefully sooner then later. Will post some pics after my next set of leaves develop. Just finished design and partial construction on the room. What do you think about 320 Watts? I am going to throw in four daylight bulbs and have four 41000K range. Also the lights can be raised and lowered and can come within inches of the plants. I also need to think about nutes soon, I will wait till they hit the hempy buckets but by then the seedling soil will be out I've been looking into the fox nutes and also Dr. Schultz 10-15-10. Either way it will be a learning experience, thanks for the sign up!

Hey badfrog - Subscribed... should make it a lot easier to follow now. Gotta love the SURPRISE part of the whole thing.

If you can get a higher temp than that on the lights it will really be worth it. It will help your plants grow faster. Other than that im definately going to keep chekcing this out and see how its going

Thanks for jumping in guys. My setup runs a little cold (basement style) so I would love to get some extra light or heat. when I put my hand in it feels normal temp never hot, but in about 3 weeks we'll have hot weather here so I may just wait it out. They're averaging about 1/2" growth daily in the form of leaves and some are still growing stem.

The Big Kahuna has flattened out and leads the group in leaf production but George, Bonita and Khloe are nor far behind.

PEACE FROM

THE MOON:eyesmoke:

Well it is what it is. Things are moving along smoothly. Unfortunately it's "bag-seed" of an indeterminable variety and age. I believe the seeds were two years old... not positive anyways that didn't matter. What matter is that you believe and good things will come.

They could make good stuff I don't know but what I do know is that if you stick around you might see something someday....

Transplant went smooth did six hempy buckets last night. I cut the party cups off and placed plants directly into the buckets after I soaked the mix a bit. Stuff dries out really quickly I am going to be watering everyday at this rate! I need to get some type of auto watering setup that happens to cost free.

I moved three plants into soil so that I can experiment with that method at the same time. I picked miracle grow moisture control and threw them into about 1.5 gal. of soil. hopefully both methods will give good results.

I am now running six 4 ft fluorescent tubes 4 - daylight and 2 - sunshine. I have 1 - daylight CFL in the mix and will add more as the plants grow.

Purchased some basic nutrients but haven't added them yet I want to let everyone get used to their new homes for a day or two then I will begin the sycle on the hempy buckets. Probably wont use nutrients on the soil but depends on how the plants do. I went with a 10-10-10 mix so I don't add too much of anything at first then depending on how they react I will change the blend.

Thats it for now sorry no pictures.
