first grow bagseed journal

Yeah, it's REAL warm for the first time this summer in our area today. Those pics show what looks like a combination of heat stress (the ridged, curled up leaf edges) and high humidity (from the look of those drooping leaves). She is gonna be stressed real bad, but if you can find a solution by tomorrow, she may not skip a beat.

from 65 to 90 now really picking up heat im not even sleeping in my room cause the ac I open the door in the cab to have more air circulating shes picking up a little bit now so for the time being im going to just leave the door open im confident now shell make it threw is there like anyway i can make it cooler in there i have enough fans but if i were to stick like something frozen in there it wont lower temps?

not sure how that would work unless you have some giant ice cubes or something haha.
Just keep things circulated and cool and she'll be fine.

lol i was thinking put frozen water bottles in there and have a fan blow them idk just some sober thinking lol maybe it will work its cooling down she took a lot of damage :( but the buds are still good ;) ill keep u guys posted if worse comes to worse ill move the box t the a ac cooled room

Hey mugzie, not sure how you have your fans set up, but a good way is to put one of your fans at the top of your grow box blowing out and then a fan on the ground blowing in.

...hope she makes it.

Yeah, that's actually what you'll find with this plant. When they get stressed in flowering, the buds actually produce more resin! The downsides are that it can kill yields, cause naners, and obviously isn't something you want to do on purpose, but it is kind of comforting to know there's some good that comes out of it. . .

yea my yeild is gonna be super low oh well its ok for a first grow :) this plant went through some hardships man but if u touch the buds gentle u get this crazy fruity smell.orange hairs everywhere now :) not a lot of bud growth but well see the coming weeks

The first time I grew a pure Sativa, it was the same story. . . it was Reeferman's Willie Nelson. She stretched all over the place, was leafy as hell, and got so big that I could not train her properly. The yields sucked, and although the buds were greasy, they were airy and fluffy; but the high. . . oh man, the high was awesome! Nice and heady, and upbeat. It will be awesome when you finally get to smoke your harvest, farmer mugzie :blsmoke:

yup i think im going to start flushing in 2 weeks shes looking orange everywhere now and im starting to see hairs reseed back in

the yellow is making all the leaves fall off and now its getting to the bud leaves im collecting all the leaves for cannabutter will it still work? anyway i think im going to have to harvest very early :( i dont want the buds to get harmed and there close to that

I don't know man. . . you should just wait it out rather than harvest this early. The sugar leaves won't have anything on them to make cannabutter with yet, and the buds are nowhere near maturity. It's up to you though, as you're the grower and you have the intuition with your plants. It's hard to get that with pics.

i gave them a good flush today and im going to wait it out another day im going to move the plants into a room with ac see if that helps im also going to feed it just pure water for 3 days and gradually add nutes again just incase it was a nute problem im all ears for anymore suggestions
