First Grow, Bag Seed, CFL, Indoor Closet, Supposed to Be Bubble But Turned Out Soil

Well I'm starting this journal late,but I will bring it up to date. this is my first grow and I invite any and all comments and advice.
I fully intended my first grow to be a bubble bucket hydro grow. I started to get the supplies as I could afford them.

Hers my stuff:



I have a closet 2x6x8 lined with mylar. I have two large reflectors with y splitter and one singe bulb small reflector. Of the five bulbs, 3 where 2700k and two where 6500k. I relized my mistake and went to all five 26 w 6500k at 4 weeks.

I was almost ready to go, just needed a few more items, but I ran short of cash. Impatient as I tend to be, I had started a few seeds in a little peat pot seed strter to practice germinating. Well a few survived and I still had no cash. I could not bear to kill em so I found a few old pots and stuck em in.

So now i have some cash and I get my stuff, but the darn things are growing nice.So I transplant into bigger pots, use Jungle growth moisture retaining mix. Feeding em well water and a little miracle grow.



Now I have not kept good records, but here, I think the babies are 5 weeks old. I am going to go to 12/ 12 with these in a few days.{the time stamp is wrong}


And now here I am 1 day into 12/12. I have 5 26w 2700k cfl in the lamps, and 3 26w cfls plus 1 26w 6500k cfl on the wall.{the time Stamps are right now}




So now I am up to date. Any guess as to their sex? Any suggestons?

Could anyone tell me why the leaf tips seem to be browing on many of the leaves? I am not sure if this is the appropriate places to ask questions about my grow.
I was also curious as to whether anyone could tell the sex from the pics I took?

Here are some pics of day 4 of 12/12. Any opinions as to sex Do the plants look healthy? I am a complete neophyte, so any input welcomed.

cant tell sex yet...tips are burning from too much nutrients.

Thanks for the replies. I will flush with plain water.
Here are some pics of day 5. I think this plant is a male. It looks to me like pollen sacs. I separated it from the others. I will wait for some other opinions befor I destroy it.

What do y'all think? Is it male???

OK i removed the male and flushed with water. Here are what I hope are my two girls in day 6 of flowering.

DAY NINE OF 12/12 FLOWERING.

I flushed 1 more time, more thoroughly, with ph adjusted well water,warm. I am going to get some Flowering fert to use after a few more plain water watering. I think I will try some molasses as well.



Well I have no experience to rely on. How are the plants looking? Are they female as I am assuming? Any suggestons?

You definitely have some female bud showing . Your plants look healthy to me but I am just a beginner too.

Some of the big fan leaves are covering up the bud sites. Should I trim those or leave em alone?

Flushed again then watered w/ ph adjusted well water. When I get a little spare cash i will invest in some bloom fert. 10 23 watt cfl 2700k,bag seed. Looks like 2 diff strains?

Here are the babies 19 days into 12/12. Burned a few fan leaves but no buds burned (well maybe on little one) from the bulbs. It's hard to balance em.

Hey nice looking plants! I think you're dong great! I am on day 31 of flowering, and I don't have buds like yours yet. So yours are coming along great!! keep up the good work! I am using soil, hydro grows em faster, for sure, and you have a few more lights than I do, but I am only doing 1 plant, not 2. I think mine is growing too slow lol. Yours are doing very well. Nice job!
