First Grow any advice?

First question is have you grown other plants? This is no different let it do its thing.
you will know when growth slows or leaves lighten up from dark green. Mg products are
Fine that is crap what people say about it. Number one reason is they over feed and cause nute burn.
listen to the plant it will tell you when it needs something. The mg perlite has less than 1% of any nutes.
This will not harm a thing. Back up your response with facts before you fill newbies in please!
i am a newb but can see through bullshit!

MG has time release nutes. I've had people rum MG perlite in their soil; if you're not watching for it, it will cause burns because you're going "Oh, it's just perlite, that's inert...". Then you start feeding and watering without accounting for the extra nutes. I'm not saying MG causes burns magically on its own. I even used MG nutes in my outdoor grow last year, I know firsthand that it won't kill your plants. Ask for clarification about my warning before jumping the gun like a newbie please! :D

i stated same thing you did and you point out i am a newb????
i do not get this place sometimes. i help the guy out by telling him facts about mg not just saying its bad.
so how am i wrong? i did clarify. to many people here stating opinions without explaining to a newb first.
the npk value of mg perlite is 0.04% 0.01% 0.06% now if this screws up any garden you are doing something wrong. just saying....
newb at first time growing cannabis indoors.(outdoor a handful of times) but have had gardens for over 20 years.

If you're amending 30% perlite and feeding, and you don't account for it. It will burn thirsty plants. That time release stuff is designed to release with water exposure. So yes, you can burn your plants if you're not accounting for it. Which is all I said in the first place. The reason I went into that whole statement that covered pretty much the same shit is because you were trying to make yourself look good by jumping the gun like a newbie. So I was forced to enumerate my reasons for advising that a less potentially complicating option be used. I don't generally type essays in these kinds of threads anymore unless someone asks for more info; it's normally wasted otherwise. Had you asked for clarification instead of assuming again; I was referring to newb to this forum, not gardening. You crossed the line from elaborating to internet dick-measuring the moment you threw in this less than kind ending:
This will not harm a thing. Back up your response with facts before you fill newbies in please!

You could have simply asked "Hey, what makes you say that? Got any proof?", and this would never have happened. Just saying...
