First Grow any advice?

This is my baby she is about 5 days old.
Ill keep posting though out her life and any comments on how I'm doing will be greatly appreciated.

Looks good so far.You need to mix more perlite in your soil when you transplant.Its good for soil drainage and root growth,aeration....just do it

Don't use nutes till after the first set of 5 fingered leaves.GL.peace

Hi,
you can add more soil. Just under the first set of leaves. Or allmost at the edge of the pot.

It depends on how dry the soil is. If the soil still has water you can go for 3.

You likely don't want this specific perlite, it has miracle gro nutes in it. You have to watch for that unless you want some mystery burn down the road. Honestly, you don't need more perlite unless your soil has poor drainage though. What kind of soil are you using?

don't over water. from the pic it looks like the whole pot is moist soil, you only need to water probably 1/2 cup of water every few days, if that. I usually water seedings with 1/4 cup of fresh water every 4 days. can't stress enough don't over water. wait for the leaves to get a little droopy before watering.

tip for next seed you crack, start it in a dixie cup and let it root in there, makes watering easier and more manageable, not to mention reduces chances of pests from prolonged soil moisture.

Got yourself a plant there! There's a lot of activity going on under the soil as the roots develop. Keep the soil most, but not wet. Roots need air.
