Got great sleep off these reeses edibles i made last night. Ate three and i woke up at 1pm still stoned. Crazy...
It was 35 degrees this morning outside in florida... Good thing I had the heater on all night! My tent was still 70f, and 45% humidity.
My humidity stays at an even 50% when my heater is on in my house.
Today is day 4 still
Feel free to post and comment if you'd like, all appreciated.

Peace!

Crazy update here guys. Very very confused with this plant :(
I confirmed she was a female a couple weeks back before flipping to 12/12... I saw pistills and can still see female pistils at her nodes as pictured.
BUT now after flipping the lights to 12/12 she was starting to look a lil hermy-ish... idk if im a still learning what pre flowers look like or not... but im confused. Could they be big pre calyxes ?
It IS only day 8. Just started week 2 of flowering and I gave a first feeding of 5ml Big Bud tonight (1.5 gal) She drinks alot of water!
Her light schedule has been on point all the time and is completely dark at night times.. Idk what would make this plant herm. Or maybe its a male???
This was a regular seed from cali connection. Please tell me what you think guys!

Damn, I would say 95% that is a dude... that sucks man. Are the "balls" raised on small "stems"? I can't tell 100% by the pics and wouldn't want to see you do anything drastic without being 100%. If you see any sign of a stem raising the balls away from the node you have a male. Give it a few days or so, sometimes a female will look male or visa versa at first...

Dam dam dam. Im 100% sure its a male now.
What a bummer huh? Just a lesson that patience is always a virtue.
My next baby im poppin is from cali connection as well. Blackwater regular seed :)

Why would my plant be male after showing female pistils around 2 weeks ago?

Might as well grow her out, collect pollen if you ever decide you want some extra feminized seeds. Good luck :weed:

Huge bummer man, I had the same thing happen to me on this grow. It also had Headband genetics... Headband X Plushberry. It showed female pre-flowers right before I put it into 12/12 then at about a week it was clearly a full blown male. Some plants will do this, it doesn't necessarily mean they are hermies. It can also go the other way, pre-flowers looking male initially then you get a female with no hermie traits.

I think you have a full blown male there, unless you see any pistils... If it is a solid male you might want to keep some of those sacks, let them open, dry out the pollen in a dark place, then mix it with some flour put it in an air tight container and store it in the fridge. Make some Headband X Blackwater. Personally, I wouldn't keep any pollen if it is a hermie.

Very nice job on this grow BTW, regardless of your bad luck.

Thank you both. If i decide to just grow him out, will i still need to feed with my nutrient regimen i wouldve given a female plant? And how long do males flower for? Im going to be juicing all of those fan leaves! :D

Great idea to juice the fan leaves, I want to try it but I have put so much azamax, neem, spinosad on them over time that I can't do it.

Males tend to be a little tougher and in my experience need fewer nutes to be maintained in flower. Still give it the same nutes as a female just a bit less of them maybe 50-75% of what you did before. They will continue to develop for at least a month, that is as long as I have ever let them go though.

One warning as well FWIW, 70% of the population is allergic to MJ pollen in some degree. I am one of them (no other allergies). You may want to keep the amount of pollen production down by taking pods off regularly. I can't remember if you are in a legal state or not but it could be a giveaway to a guest or if it is blown down the hall etc. Not too many allergens in my area this time of year. That stuff is poison to me..

From what I've READ, yes. You should be feeding just like any other plant. I have also read that they "flower" a lot quicker.

If you're really contemplating growing him out, I'd stroll on over to the breeders paradise :weed:

Thanks for all of your help throughout my grow guys!
Im definetly gonna start this breeding project :)
I should have tons of pollen from this 818 to last me a LONG time.
818 Headband x Blackwater. I hope this Blackwater is a female!
Been watching riverrock tv breeding videos all night n day lol. Scott is the shit.

Peace and till next time RIU! :bigjoint::leaf:
