I try to take it out as one clump and break it up from the bottom, crumbling gently. I put the stem between my first and middle fingers, palm down on the dirt, pick it up and flip it upside down or as close as you can get and wiggle the pot off. Booya
If his root system is strong enough to hold the soil , going off the issues i assumed they may not be , but you are right.

Just incase you didn't see my other post clonex do I lay the roots flat when i replant?
Just drop them into a hole that you put into the soil , go half way down and just drop them in , they will sort themselves out. it will be fine , have faith , i have to go turn on my bloom rooms in a sec , i will take some pics of my 1.5 week old cheese seedlings that i took out of coco and re potted into rockwool and hydroleca clay , because i had the same issue as you. will be back around 11pm if your uk time like me.

I have replanted the 2 with severe yellowing ... The first replant went a bit tits up because as I turned it down the side of the coco collapsednand kind of bent one of my babies a bit on the head but other one went well... Nice long White root system stretching out around thenpot and then around it, took a long time to shake them coco medium off.... Mixed in 3 spoons full of guano withvabout 70% coco 30% perlite. It felt more airy, now leaving it to it's last hour before the lights go off, no water and no adds added as suggested clonex. Are you sure they will be ok overnight with no water what so ever ? I used fresh coco so fresh start and no water available to it at the moment.

No you must water if coco was fresh , i was basing that on the fact you were re-using the same coco that you flushed yesterday , sorry , i am really pleased you used new coco , that's the first sensible thing you have done without a prompt , fair play , dont discard the old coco flush it through you can use again , that stuff aint cheap , dont type go water them now , lift the pots and remember the weight in your mind , next time dont water until they are that weight again ....

do not worry about the slight bending , she will recover.

Ok brokerJ here are some pictures for you to settle your worried mind , the 1's i had problems with were nute locked and others in normal soil(not coco) were root locked , but both are fixed with the same technique. I have taken some other pics so that you can see the 1's without issue i let go on in the soil or coco.....

Picture 5 is locked , will be re-potted tomoz , this can happen alot when planting more than 1 clone per/pot but if you get it right results are wicked ,6 are new cheese seedlings that have not locked and will be transplanted into bigger pots with coco 7,8 just a picture of vegging plants , you can see some in coco or soil are fine,1,2,3,4 are chesse seedling that were locked out, you can see the prior issues , those pics were taken day of re-pot, the other 2 pics are how they are now at 1.6 weeks, i hope this rests your mind a little my friend...

Nice pics, that's how mine used to look p until a couple of weeks ago. Lol. What should I expect to see in the plant if it is recovering? Obviously greener leaves but anything else that indicates I am doing something right? Well... I listened to what you had suggested, let's hope it pays off and I get some lovely vanilla kush :)

hey all if you growing in soil might i suggest bumping up your ph to min 6.8 to 7.0 remember lower th ph value the more acidic your soil becomes try to maintain nuetreal 7.0
i kinda raced thu this thread so heres my input if you like you mentione leafs turning lighter green common when plants are hungry bump up your feedings
other plants are fine but you got couple doing this ????? not all plants react the same think of them like your or me i may eat more then you and you may be bigger then me lol all plants react differently remember that

you noticed yellowing???
yelowing is cause by only 2 things really 1 is over watering 2 is ph fluctuations
Remember ph your nutrients after you mix most nutrients have a buffer in them

when transplanting try not to disturb to much of the root system this way transplanting will go with out any stressing to the plant if plant gets stressed out it takes alot longer to recover

I hope this info helps you in some way Cheers

Well the yellow leaves will wilt further and fall off , you should see new growth appearing from the centre, little clusters all curled up , the thing is nobody can be a 100% sure of a perfect cure for your plants ill health , 1 thing is for sure, your plants will appreaciate what you have done , if you overwatered, problem solved , if you overfed and caused nute lock , problem solved , you have improved the quality of your grow medium you have a 50% better chance of growing a healthy plant,
Next thing is getting your feeding right , i strongly advise you read someone's journal/grow diary who has grown vanilla kush to see roughly what kind of feeding pattern they like , this would be useful , be careful with canna nutes , they are very strong i use canna pk13/14 bloom and canna terra flores as a 2 part nute , but i gotta say i hate the stupid bottle and measuring system , they are crap , it spills everywhere , burns the crap outa my skin and unless you use a syringe its really hard to gauge accurately , normally for first time growers i would advise a 1 part feeding nute , but as you have spent the money , go with them just be careful ,

Are you currently running the light 18/6 or 24/0 ? i advise 24/0 for a week if you can manage it , or if you have to run 18/6 try to break up the 6 hours dark into say 2 parts of 3 hours , the more light you give them now the better they will respond.

Hi drfever and thanks for your post. I have been using coco but I suppose my ph might fluctuate from 5.8 to 6.1 every now and then. And regarding not disturbing the root system, I tapped the plant onvthe palm of my hand very softly untilvmost of the coco had fallen off, then made a big hole and placed it in the middlenand softly filled it in so it gets enough air. I hope the roots start to spread out again and they don't get stuck in the middle.... Looks like s good mix with perlite coco and guano

Clonex the light goes off at 12 so went off 20mins ago... I don't want to it's pattern now but are you suggesting I keep it on for 24 hrs from tomorrow for a few days? Will it be ok just to go straight down to 18/6 again (what I currently use) after going 24hrs? When I mix the nutes I keep it at about 1cap per bucket so it is definateky less than 1part per 100. IF I GET THERE... My flowering nutes are pk 13/14 and bloom (and cannazym) I hope that my plants will survive so i get to smoke some vanilla, nothing like that taste barneys breakfast bar taste in Amsterdam...I miss it! There is lots of growth coming through underneath, I wonder how much longer I need in veg? 2-3weeks? I will look into finding a grow journal but havnt found one as of yet.
