well a little confused on what you mean but I will explain and see if it helps.

Lets say you have a room fan in your tent. It is pushing air around inside your tent. Air is not being suck or pushed out of the tent. If air does try to escape it is going out the easiest way it can that has no obstacles of flow. A scrubber needs to have air being pushed or pulled through it hence an inline fan or squirrel cage fan for it to work.

Options can be this - you could run the inline fan to scrubber INSIDE the tent to scrub smell OR you can connect the inline fan and scubber to the outside pulling air through the top hole helping pull the hot air out and fresh air in being pulled in by itself from the lower hole.

yep! :-P

sexy!

p.s. your mean!
Lol..i promise im not mean!! just trying to help ;)
and my idea was shit!! def need to get the fan ur talking about...so once i pick that up...i'll be asking for diagrams :) j/k
the little fan inside pushing out...DEF NOT gonna work...lol it was a waste!! Its not strong enough, and once i add more lights the temps are gonna hit the roof!!! Boo!

How is my 400 pound bff

well today will be a bit slow at work so I will see if I can do a couple of diagrams. I know you are on a budget but if you try to half ass a scrubber its just not going to work. So with that in mind maybe you can slowly buy misc parts over time and then put it together. The thing you have going for you is that your still a ways off from any smell in your growth BUT if and when it happens then you need something fast cause its a dead give away.

I have the 4" 80cfm inline fan but recomend the 6" which is high 100's to 200's

I think the math behind it is that you want to pull 3 times the amount of volume of air a minute of your tent ....

so if you know the inches of your tents specs you do WxHxL /12 and thats your cubic feet. so you need 3 times that number in cfm. If what you just read looks like a foreign language then just tell me your tent demensions.

LMFAO...4x2x6 is the tent chief!!
when u say 4" vs 6" with the fan are u talking about the length?? cuz the diameter of the tent hole's :) is only 4" ...

lol I always say "chief"

Yes 6" diameter because you can buy a reducer that is 6" to 4". And 6" fans have more cfm then 4" fans.

ok the math
4x2x6 = 48 cubic feet or "cf"
cfm = cubic feet a minute
so times that by 3 = 144cfm would be ideal situation so if you can get this fan below it would be your best bet in my opinion.

you would still need to get some other supplies to make the hole configuration which I could post picks and names when you are ready.

K i wrote it down :) so i'll pick it up either later this week or this weekend, and take it from there... i'll check the 4" first and see if i can find one equivalent to those cfms...if not.. i'll get the 6" with the reducer!! Ur the best!!!
