Need to find my better digital camera. My phone doesn't cut it.

This girl looks like she is working on her next set of leaves already!!

This one was the greenest, after feeding she has grown slightly but also started to turn a little yellow from the inside out

So last Thursday I was in fear of not having enough nutes in soil to make it to monday when I was supposed to get my FF order in the mail...

My girlfriend suggested that I use 1/8 strength of my MG Tomato Plant food on just one single and see how she does...

here are the shocking results...

Here she is Thursday

here is she is this morning

She is clearly doing the best...I am prob if I should bump up the strength of the Fox Farm...I don't want to continue to use the MG even tho it is working...I just wanted to make note of this.

The girls were very light to pick up, watered with 30 ml hydrogen peroxide to the gallon, ph 6.5.

Run off ph7.0 ppm 96
Room temp 81
Soil temp 76
RH 47%

No nutes for this watering, but they are really growing so by lights out I may water again.

Using distilled water, which I have read is stripping nutes from plant.

I also read that FF trio is low in calmag.

Going to get a bottle as soon as I can.

If anyone can see any deficiency or red flags please drop a comment. :) I will appreciate you it very much!

Also Ill post how bad some of them were looking =( but they all seem to be liking the FF Trio very much, along with the correct PH:clap:IMG_2161.jpg IMG_2159.jpg IMG_2160.jpg IMG_2156.jpg IMG_2155 (1).jpg IMG_2180.jpg IMG_2181.jpg IMG_2175.jpg IMG_2179.jpg IMG_2174.jpg

This is them yesterday right after some nutes, looking like they were in need...

I haven't taken individual pictures and charted growth per plant...Is that advised? I guess labeling them wouldn't hurt...

I dont know if it has been mentioned but with 20 plants make sure you have odor control. My first grow was 14 plants with no filter, i made a 100-200ft radius of my home smell like weed :o:dunce:

Yes, need to look into a good source for DIY carbon filter! However this is my first grow, I'm not sure which ones will make the cut and survive my learning curve.

Thanks for letting me know about the Pots that was crucial info. I will be transplanting them soon into there homes after a good recovery and they have a little bit more growth.

Also still using 4x26w 6500k and added 4x23 soft...I believe each bulb is 1600x8=12,800 lumens? I assume that is not going to get me very far...

I would like to get a LED...just because in my area it will be 105 soon.

Im curious a rough price for one that will do alright in both stages..

Right now the light set up is about 3-4 inches over them not sure if this is to close and thats why some leaves have a little "lightness" to them..or if they are just recuperating from the bad over watering and PH in the first two weeks. Damn I really fucked them up good Im surprised they are turning around on me and getting some color back! I think the 1/4 strength nutes were enjoyed, without a burn! Will bump to 1/2 strength next feed after tops get pretty dry.

Need to think about transplant

I would like to put them in 1 gallon smart bags...any input on that would be much appreciated!

If there is any information that I am leaving out that I can provide just ask...first grow/first log/journal

Thanks Team!

When you transplant remove them from the peat pots, they are a pain in the arse if you ask me. I used them once and never again.

Just read this whole thread, you have been busy. I'm 10 days into my first grow so any advice I have take with a grain of salt. I would say make sure seedlings are getting enough light but mainly take it easy on the nutes. I'm growing in coco and really just started giving nutes at any strength at all on day 9. Just don't want to see you burn those plants beyond repair cause it is very easy to do from what I've read. I studied for about a month and got everything I needed before starting and here are my 2 white widows on day 10.

I do have some spots on my lower leaves in biggest plant, think it may be from getting water with nutes in it in leaves yesterday. I hope anyway, a lot to it. Like you i don't know what to do a lot of the time. I try to stay calm and avoid any knee jerk reactions

I appreciate it. I know that it's user error, but damn I didn't know I was bad. These girls are far far behind that.

I just checked the soil temp and it was 64. Shit.

I try to keep it simple. I water when they are light and dry on top inch.

The only feeding they have had has been a 1/4 strength today just PHd distilled water.

I read that FF trio doesn't have calmag but I'm afraid to add some. To avoid burning.

Thanks for the response also, I just want to figure out the biggest thing I'm over doing or not doing correct. Kinda sad.

I just noticed how cold the soil and cups were from a watering 10 hours ago. How can that be when temps reach 80 in there?

Looks like one is getting pretty big and developing a lot more leaves

The larger one was fed a small dose of miracle grow tomato food.

My nutes were taking too long to deliver so I tested it and on that.

But that next morning my FF trio arrived so I began using that.

Hey Feisty, Thanks again for dropping some knowledge, much appreciated!

I have been advised by a close friend here in my town and many online forums to avoid organic the first attempt. Obviously it would be a little more advance then I would like for first time! I have read amazing reviews for everything organic you mentioned and the impact it makes in the long run.

For this go, I have the FF Trio purchased and will be here next monday or tuesday...hopefully these girls chipper up once I get my PH meter this afternoon and attempt to correct that issue.
WTF? Why? Nothing wrong or hard about starting with organics!
Back when I started your choice's were Peter's/Jack's - MG or organic!

You want advice?
The best you need to hear is to water - feed - water - feed etc, etc get it? This is VERY important to do with synthetic's!
AND
Do not start "bloom" nutes till AFTER the stretch.....like 2-3 weeks after you flip to flowering times!
AND
Get some real lighting in there for veg and bloom.....upgrade from CFL ASAP! Starting seeds and running seedlings to up-potting out of Solo cups is CFL ok, NO later then that !!!!
AND
I suggest you use a Kelp extract* and a Silica**. Get a good Ca/Mg product*** like CALiMAGic.

Notes"
* 5ml per gallon of feed solution

** ALWAYS use the Silica on water only days - or - ALWAYS add the Silica FIRST and stir it in before adding nutrients AND always add the Ca/Mg last!

*** 3-5ml per feeding

Has anyone ever had this problem? Or needed to water with peroxide before and can let me know what to expect?
DO NOT use peroxide ! It kills the Bio's IN the soil! You don't want to kill any more then you all ready are with synthetics!

Shit, don't worry about fungus gnats right now - They're not that big a problem, more of an annoyance.

Here get this shit - works great!

Be sure to soak the soil and repeat the treatment 6 days later! Let the soil dry out before starting to water again! You CAN mix it with feedings!
