First grow, 1000w HPS bagseed 30 days into flower

I just got done putting all the bud from the first plant I chopped into a jar. It weighed a lot more then I thought at 43.4 grams. I don't know how much of that is seeds yet though.

I hope it was dry enough, it seemed dry and it smoked pretty good in a couple joints. I really don't want mold so I will keep an eye on it but I think its pretty dry. It might lose some more weight but it doesn't really matter to me since this is personal smoke and I wont be selling any.

They were in 1 gallon pots when I got them and they were getting root bound. I put them straight into 3 gallon bags and left them in there the whole time.

Just weighed the second plant I cut, it came out 41.2 grams. Thats after I smoked a joint or two. Its a little drier then the last plant. I think I put the last one in a jar too soon but I think it will be ok as long as I open it regularly. This plant seems to have less seeds and even the first plant didn't have that many. The first plant was probably better, the buds were denser. I am very happy with the quality of both plants though. They bot taste fine and are very stoney. I have another one drying and the rest are still growing. I will try to get some pics of them soon.

I chopped two more plants tonight so 66 days flower. The first plant looked a lot different then the rest and it had more bud then I thought. I haven't weighed them yet but I think it will be more then any of the others I have cut so far.

Put the third plant I cut into a jar today. It weighed 52.5 grams, almost 2 ounces.

man i couldn't even see seeds in those buds, but omfg do they look crystallized...nice job man. so im taking you got a few hermies and pulled them out bc they had spider mites? did you realize there was seeds before pulling them out? just wondering how tough it is to spot a hermie plant as i am doing my first grow and i got about 30 plants going so i am kind of worried.

Yeah I started smoking it as soon as it was dry enough. I'm already almost halfway through the first jar. I'm definitely happy with it, even the first plant that didn't flush for that long tastes good and its all pretty stoney. I cut the first one after 57 days of flower and I still have a couple going. I'm not sure how long they vegged, when I got them the guy said they were a couple months old, they were started in a greenhouse without much light so they were really stretched when I got them. I'll check out your grow journal.

Actually I didn't find any hermies, I must have left a male in there too long before I pulled it. They aren't that bad, some buds have a few seeds, others don't have any. I saw signs of seeds for a while before they were done, but I wasn't sure until they got close to harvest. I will definitely be more careful if I get plants grown from seed again, I think I will get clones next time. I just got these plants because they were cheap and they were already pretty big.

I probably would have left the first couple a little bit longer if it wasn't for the mites, but I didn't really harvest that early they were ready to come down. The spider mites looked really bad on the plant and they definitely weren't doing the leaves any good but they don't seem to be much of a problem after harvest. Most of them were on the leaves so they were removed when I trimmed. The rest seemed to clime to the highest point on the stem when they were hanging upside down drying. I'm sure there are a few left but not enough to notice. I haven't looked all the buds over with a scope but I don't see any just looking at them. I definitely can't taste them or anything.

Two more in jars. The first one weighed 47.7 and the second was 58.9. I broke 2 ounces on one plant. . The 58.9 one was a lot different looking too. The buds had were bigger and had less leaves but they were spaced further apart. It seems to be a good plant, the buds are really dense and they don't seem to have that many seeds.

The picture of the bud on the plate is just the one plant.

I have two big ones left and two little ones that I started outside in crappy soil. One is the purple plant that I posted pictures of before and its almost ready, I'm thinking about topping it and letting the smaller buds go for a little while longer. The other plant was put into flower on July 29 so it has at least a couple more weeks. I'm not sure if I want to leave the light and fan and everything on for the one last plant. I may harvest it early, I want to get more plants started but I need to clean the room to get rid of the mites.

I will probably get some kind of filter for my intake to make sure I don't get bugs again. Can anyone recommend anything?

I chopped one plant and topped two others a few days ago, I don't remember the exact date. I put them in jars yesterday 9/13.

The first one IO harvested the whole plant, it was 51.9 grams.

The second one I just topped and I got 33.3 grams, the bottom half is still growing, its about ready, I will probably harvest the rest soon.

The third one was a small plant that I started outside in crappy dirt and gave no nutrients (it was abused to say the least) until I put it in FFOF and stuck it under my light. I topped it and got 16.2 grams, (after I smoked a couple joints) the bottom of the plant is still growing. Its REALLY purple compared to the others, the pictures don't do it justice I will try to get better picks.

Botanicare Liquid Karma and Pure Blend Pro Bloom. Some were also given MG in veg before I got them.

DAM! is that some purple, those are some bomb ass strains. did your friend tell you the names ?

He didn't know, he said he started them from bag seed. The purple one I started myself from bag seed, its strange because I don't remember smoking anything that looked like that.

Man those buds look awesome!!! Lets see all 4 Jars full of bud!
