Small update for anyone who might be interested, plants seem to be getting back on track although one seems to be growing faster than the other, ive upped the ppms slightly but don't plan on going any higher at this time, once again thank you all for the input, much appreciated.Screenshot_2022-03-26-20-38-12-698_com.macrovideo.v380pro.jpgIMG_20220326_203147.jpgIMG_20220326_201941.jpgIMG_20220326_201956.jpgIMG_20220326_201936.jpgIMG_20220326_201948.jpg

Another question, my plants seem to be concentrating on growing roots more than growing and stretching vertically, is this what happens in Rdwc? I'm half expecting them to start shooting up but no sign of that yet, the main stem seems to be the only part thats growing and thickening up.IMG_20220404_173641.jpg

They go thru different stages. Working on roots right now setting the stage for what's to come.
They'll take off shortly.
The roots are really growing like nothing I've ever witnessed, I guess we will soon see, fortunately the deficiency has stayed away.

The best thing about DWC is being able to watch the root growth.
Kind of amazing how fast they grow compared to soil.

Thought I'd add another picture of the tent tonight, not looking to turn this into a grow diary as such but just an update, plants seem to be growing low and stalky, I did think I'd have a bit more hight at around six weeks in veg, both been topped multiple times now and thankfully no more nutrient burn, no higher than 550ppms and solution at 64.5f IMG_20220423_201254.jpg

Can you move that air pump? Its blowing warm air isnt it? I always kept mine outside the room to stay cool.
Hey thanks for the reply, I suppose the air pump will be blowing air into the totes that's equivalent to the air temperature in the tent, I struggle to get the temperature of the nutrient solution above 65f in my res, it's outside my tent so I thought I was good in that regard, also my understanding is that I would have more pressure going to the air stones if the air im pumping traveled less of a distance.

Your air temp with LED light needs to be 77-80F your plants will thank you.
I had no issues running 4' long hoses to my stones.

One week in from flip, when would be the best time to do some trimming of the leaves?, thinking I've missed the window to do it and will need to wait until the stretch finishes, any feedback appreciated.Screenshot_2022-05-28-21-40-54-365_com.macrovideo.v380pro.jpg

2nd week from flip and as you can see, I've not had the heart to start defoliation yet, alot of reading about the pluses and minuses of leaf stripping has left me somewhat in Screenshot_2022-06-04-21-22-14-715_com.macrovideo.v380pro.jpgbetween, I'm even wondering if it ain't to late to install a scrog.

Just keep an eye on those big fan leafs that are laying on top of other leafs that’s were problems can happen. I feel it’s beneficial to defoliate some of the lower stuff that won’t get good light and it helps the top colas get more energy. Those are pretty thick looking so maybe just do some selective pruning to open them up for some air flow get to the centers of them. Looking good though good job on first DWC
