First female from cross breed

Not too long ago I started my first cross breed of god bud and white rhino. It is now week #5. My perfect prize plant, which hasn't had 1 problem at all with ANYTHING...including bugs, has just showed her first 3 preflowers...i'm very excited, this being my first cross breed and all. Now comes the clones i will be taking from her, and she will become my mother plant....couldn't ask for a better phenotype for a mother.

With what you mean?....i've heard lots of good things about the powdered root hormone, so i'm gonna go with that. I plan to start with taking 4 clones from her on friday, let them root, veg for 2 weeks then flower. I also yesterday noticed on my bushiest plant, little white hairs growing right near the top new growth...not sure yet if it's pistal's...but it's looking more like it today...so hopefully it's a female as well...cause it would make a great mother too, it's the one that started with purple traits at the beggining, having 2 mothers right away would help a great deal..start off with 8 clones. All in all i think not bad...i started with 22 seeds...10 germ'd, 5 grew, 3 lived, and 2 are female, maybe it's not the best record...but i think i got lucky...i was expecting all males...so i'm very happy.

So it's 3 for 3...all are showing female preflowers and no male traits at all, so them not being hermies looks very good.

I used the powder to clone...no mess if done right...lol.

The clones i took from this plant took VERY well...it's only been just over a week and already the roots are a friggin maze...i have to transplant them into bigger pots now and start vegging them. I took 2 more clones from her as well...and it's only been 2 days and i see roots starting already...this female is one strong bitch...so her name is now Helga!!

nice i crossed a god bud with a rhino as well.were did you get your god from and did it have hermie problems,good luck.

My God Bud came straight from the original growers on Vancouver Island, the breeders gave me a few seeds of different strains a few years back, and over time i kept male pollen from quite a few of them. I had no hermie problems when i grew the bud...in fact they were either VERY male or very female.

How did your plants turn out? taste, smell...etc.

The white rhino i had was from greenhouse seeds, they in my opinion have the BEST white rhino strain...it's VERY potent.

i got the rhino from greenhouse in 96 it has been cloned since,the god bud came from jordan of the islands who i believe are the original breeders,my buddy picked them up in van for me,they turned out with as much crystal as ive ever seen and the smoke was a1,it didnt smell to great but the flavour came out in taste it was fruity.but you spend alot of time picking out hermies,they said if i place another order they will give extra seeds,well see if i want to deal with kindseed again.but i cant wait to see yours grown out good luck.

Yes jordan of the islands is correct...based out of Vancouver Island BC...I will keep you updated on the progress, so far no hermies yet...seems like i have some very strong females.

Ok here's the updates as long promised to some of you. Don't remember how old they atually are...and i do't care...lmao, but the important thing is they are all happy healthy females. Pics are of my setup, and of my flowering plant, which is on day 7 of flowering. In picture 1, in the front row of smaller plants middle plant...that's the plant that poped ground in one of my house plants 3 months after i planted it. Picture 13, the last pic, is my mother, she is strong and produces healthy clones, and hasn't had a real problem at all, bugs don't like her, and she is fairly tolerent to everything, the only problem I had with her was her bushiness, but taking some clones and some careful trimming cured that right away.

The plant in flowering is one of the original I started, but i wanted to see what one of them would produce and this one was elected, of course I took a few clones from her in case she turns out really good. All but the 3 big plants are clones, and 1 is the one that took 3 months to germ and grow, i have 4 more clones from the flowering plant in a hummidty box.
