First ever grow

Ok guys so after picking your brains last month then losing internet from moving house I did some calculations and need to start a grow in a major hurry so it's all done before we go on holiday at the beginning of august

so I have got this setup

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271328052568?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

and and this is what it looks like all set up

(sorry the photo rotated when i uploaded and i have no idea how to rotate it back)

Now I'm just waiting for clones to arrive and I can get things progressing from there hopefully this weekend

will add more photos later as things get moving sorry there is so little to start with and the space the tent is squeezed into is extremely tight i only just managed to get it setup lol

feel free to comment also guys/gals, as this is my first grow you may well notice some things i would otherwise miss

Ok so my cuttings have finally arrived today and i have already noticed some of the leaves are yellowing with a few of the leaves curling at the edges.

for now i've just repotted them into some compost 3/1 perlite mix and will check on them tomorrow and take some pictures to upload them

also see if the yellowing is getting any worse

Ok i've added some pictures and i've dropped a bollock already by over feeding them a couple of days ago. they do have some nute burn and the colour is gradually getting better i'm currently just using plain water till colour returns not sure why the leaves are still drooping though :(

i put some pictures of the entire setup and the tent goes all the way back to the wall so you can see how tight the area is that i have to work withIMG_5528.JPG IMG_5530.JPG IMG_5535.JPG IMG_5536.JPG the leave thats in half on bottom of picture literally fell off when i touched it a day after i got the plants color is gradually returning since i way over fed them though

in a day they turned from bottom leave colour to worse than what they are now last time ill be making a mix by pouring for sure. I now have a measuring jug to be extra precise

lowest it goes is to 15 C at lights off - with lights on its around 28 - 30 C I need to get a heater of some sort for lights off though i think although it is going to get warmer here soon

I also don't have my exhaust running at all and the oscilating fan only runs with lights on its on the light timer

What's the temperature of your grow tent ? And how often do you water them ?
I guess that the temps are very fine enough with that 5 inch fan.

From my first experiences I don't ever feed the plant anything before leaves start yellowing. And I water it only when top of the soil is dry.which is every 2-3 days. When you have bigger container like more than 3 gallon container then 4-6 days.. Happy growing and stay frosty.

You should have fan running at night too, becouse those big ladies are going to eat all the oxygen there and slows it down. And 15c sounds good for me, I have my room temp 15-20. When it isn't for you too cold or hot to live with then it's fine.

sorry i have a passive intake also which is hooked directly up to an outside vent which should give enough oxygen

if the oscillating fan was running at night also wouldn't the temps drop further? this is the only reason i have it turned off

Do you have any radiator or something to heat the room up wheres the growbox is?

nope no radiators at all where it is, the tent is in the cellar and there is literally 5 inch ducting size room on either side of the tent, it was a very tight fit. there is no heating system at all fitted into the cellar its basically full of damp and all sorts of crap. The tent is effectively a room squeezed into another room but neccesary due to the environment,

i will be getting something like this

http://www.click4electrics.co.uk/3ft-tubular-heater-ecdth3-p-1702.html

with a temperature controlled plug as space is tight at some point
I just need to do this first time as cheaply as possible in order to buy everything i need after

just been down again and the leaves are drooping even more than before they don't look very healthy like they are curling up on themselves ive given them some more water but i dont know what it is

Post pictures. Are you running 600w hps on them ? Maybe its from too much light?

sorry haven't been on for a few days, they seem to have recovered now in my effort not to over water them i under watered them instead :(

yep they are under a 600w hps also

still a little nute burn so im just literally watering them now until dark green colour returns,

I've also just repotted them with some biobizz light mix soil with some air pots ill post a pic later if it lets me

i am also aware of how much water they actually need now so hopefully wont under/over water them anymore :) one of the plants seems to be doing far better than the others though so hopefully ill get decent off at least one of them :)

The drooping was likely over watering. 1/3 perlite makes it much harder to over water for new growers. Also organic newness make it much harder to burn your plants. Would love to see stone updated pics.
