#1 died.
i tried to take #2 out of the small homemade pot and put in a net pot. it was root bound inside the cup,
and had stopped growing. it hasn't pulled out of it yet. thinking of making clones out of it. it hasn't grown any for about 10 days. barely drinking anything. what to do? got some barney's farm lsd started for my next try. 
waiting on a bluecheese to break ground to grow with it. i am not done with this plant yet. it will not kick my ass

hey man im sorry to hear #1 died!i remember my first grow and my plant got to 8 inches then just decided it had enough....bad plants no biscuits....but anywho i like your fighting spirit...show those ladies whos boss

i used white tape on my bigger dwc. black absorbs the light. the main thing is don't let any light get in. some totes allow light.

just make sure it doesn't let light pass through. i used duct tape on a clear res and got algae

if you do, make as many holes as possible. my roots choked themselves out. the empty cup is for checking ph,ppm and res level. i transplanted but it hasn't done anything yet(8 days)

Nice grow closetkiller! I love the cups for pots,I thought of doing that but was worried about rootbound too.but they looked pretty happy in there at first.I made the mistake of painting my first res black.Its way too hot.Im going to have to paint it white or try foil tape on the lid or something.Ive been adding frozen water bottles and frozen hunks of ph'd water,but thats a pain in the ass.trying 1st clones in there but there struggling.1 with roots after a week and 2 with root bumps,so all is not lost.LIVE N LEARN

Hey sicc,Im using a 10 gallon from dollar general for $2.50 each.Ive heard to go all the way to end in a res. 3-5 gallons per plant.but i think with everything right and smaller(younger plants) you can get away with it.I plan to use the smaller one for cloning and veg.Then transfer(before roots are too big)into a larger res with less plant sites for flower.
