Stopped bending them for now.
will start again in some days probably. But only to let them grow in the right direction.
Because these will have plenty of room once the bigger ones are done.
Only 1 is weak ( probably stress from too dry to too wet )
The one i broke recovered nicely
Maybe i'll hang the lights a bit higher.
I spray them each day now with spray solution i had laying around.
Also gave them some root nutrition. ( small dose)


Day 58
Watered them today since i saw some leaves going droopy. And i was a while ago i gave them the watering soo..
My blue leds from the vipar stopped working on the left side.. Luckily its not the red spectrum.
They willl ship me the driver for free normally. so hopefully i can fix it in some days.

This one is developping nicely. I'm hoping on 1 fat bud from that one. Still fully white.



Strange thing. Still 2 of them are not flowering yet ??
Showing no sign of pistols.
I also cleared lots of leaves ( yellow ish dead leaves from beneath)

Oh the ladies loved the watering. They swolled alot on some hours
Upped the lights in the smaller tent to 67cm.
Still spraying and also gave them a bit water to evaporate for the humidity since that was a bit low.
Might want to help the tallest one because i think in some days it will be to heavy to carry for him.

This is now like day 59. Is it even normal that 2 are still not showing pistols ?
Going to google that right away. Funny enough they are the same brand of seed.
So that could mean they are normal plants.
Which means they need 12/12 to flower. Which i can't give them atm ..
Can't transplant them because they are with other plants in the same box.
Could i give them stress or something to start flowering ?

Steady swelling , ive placed another bloom led i had laying around in the bigger tent to cover some smaller buds on the end of the tent.
Meanwhile i've been reading into COB's. And must say i'm intrigued.
I might buy a diy kit for the smaller tent. Those kits from kingbrite are cheap, only the shipment is alot. But then again those heatsinks are heavy and come from far..
Still deciding if a 250w clu048 kit would be sufficient for 1x1m.

Only the plants in the little tent are not really doing that good. But i suppose its because of the lesser quality leds in there ..

Biggest one have been swellen alot. Looking like dense buds to me.
The big one next to it is a bit later , but i'm seeing good activity over there also, shes following

they are the ones in front of the tent, got lesser light so i hung another small bloom led with them and they seem to like ittt
My bad , i had to hang it already for some days.


The ones circled are the 2 non flowering stubborn ones..
I really hope they survive untill i can switch light to 12/12 for them..
Because those got a decent chunk off the lights. They are also better canopy-spread then the others which should give more bud.

I'm still having the 2 mongols also and it seems they will give some nice buds too. Not much but atleast 5g

About mixed about those.
Started with RO, but didn't really liked it.
Switched to normal water after a while.
Got light stress i suppose from the leds to close.
Lights are now atleast 70cm above plants.
They are not doing that good as the other grow, because of less quality lightings.
HOWEVER, my bending tactic is working nicely, next time i'll start earlier with the bending.
Alltough i think it could have given them also some stress by constantly bending.
So i might just crop them like i did on accident with the middle one. -> 3 even buds will develop there !! I was hoping on a 4th one also but that will be continued.
I'm sure under decent lights these would be muchas better.
On the right i'm seeing some potassium defiency possibly, won't add anything.
Just will wait it out and place them under the viparspectra's when possible.

For the lighting problem, i made another thread.
And i'll be upgrading to a DIY led cob kit (300watt , 6x clu048 1212)




Now its time to learn something more about harvesting/when/how
I think i will need to do it gradually because not an even canopy.

Some are chopped and being dried. (only the small ones)
Made a small drying/sprouting/pre veg room. Connected the air inlet to the bigger tent since that's needed for drying properly.

That one goes in the small tent tonight or tomorrow morning. Really curious how the plants will react to it.
And how much heat it'll give etc.
Seems very bright.

Also got a new driver from viparspectra.
Putted it in the old vipar and works sometimes/stops sometimes. So it think its not really a broken driver but more a bad switch on the bloom.
(So i have an extra free driver now which is nice in case.. )

I'll post some updates tomorrow.
1 thing , i saw a plant getting strange symptoms. ( strange spots on leaves)
I think it got fungus or something because in its reservoir/box , i saw some greenish/mold.
Might need to chop that one a bit earlier then expected.

Still having those 2 not flowering plants where 1 is dying slowly it seems. The other one still looking green.
Hope they survive another 1-2weeks before i can switch that tent to 12/12..


Also thinking on doing some arduino thingies after vacation.
Heatingsensor on the cob's would be nice. That text me when its to high.
Or a soil moisture meter in each box.
I want to have a feel safe feeling with tracking abilities.
And need a relais for the cob's too.

But next project is making a trimmer.

Drying room
As you can see , i'm a bit experimenting with the drying process. Some are already trimmed a bit, others ive trimmed after a while since there is not that much room in the closet and others are around the corner to be harvested
These were the smaller ones/mongols. The tent is looking way nicer now , less overcrowded.

Those last 2 are spurting last days heavily. Pistols are showing and showing.
Still fluffy for now so i hope i was not to late for the extra light on them. ( still no orange pistols to be seen so .. I'm hoping )

Newcomers under the cobs since yesterday.
The build seems very nice.

NO NOISE from the fans like all the leds have.
It's cooler then my 2previous leds. ( +- 2°C colder)
Hovering at 18°C-23°C
One thing that is a bit a pitty for me. Because the air filter sucking air , the tent is vacuming ( i knew this )
But i didn't thought about it when making the frame. So the frame could be made smaller ( = stronger + more light in the middle etc )


Day 51 already damn

Don't look that happy imo. ( some still from the lightburn)
I gave them water yesterday also. But my PH meter felt in the water and stopped working so i had to PH it by head..
Hope it goes fine.
Also maybe overexaggerated with the bending abit.
Next time i bend them when they are smaller and let them be after a while.
Now they were constantly bended.


So this was my experiment. Extreme bending + topping one time
5 main colas will be formed It won't become very big since its only a small container for the roots.
But still i'm very happy seeing this.
Bare in mind the topping was on accident lol
Probably went fast into flower also because of this. ( many pistols already)


They are also very small in comparisation to the other plants..
They didn't grow alot in height.. Could this be from the light stress? Or from the bending ?



Guys, feel free to give advice ..
I'm reading daily and try to improve.
For now , it seems that light is the most important factor for me.
I think in some months when i start again, it will be much better.

Way to many plants in these space. Not got to keep on track of each plant.
Not easy to take them all out of the tent to water..
Also think i gave them to less water daily. ( but afraid of overwatering)

Also didn't know i had to let water rest for 24-48h under UV to let the chlorine evaporate.

Still almost no nutes ( only some foliar spray & rootstim on the new batch )
straight from the tap ( 500ppm from start)


So currently making the trimmer. Made some blades today but still need to be sharpened heavily.
I'll be using a brushless DC motor and control it via arduino probably.
( i have that laying around but need it for something else too , so not sure yet)

Reorganization
+ hung the light higher for better coverage, should have done that earlier ..
The 2thinnest ones are still swelling. Still hoping they turn out a bit dense like the 2 bigger ones.
2 Not flowering still alive. Could someone advise me on this ?
I was thinking on covering them for a 12hours with a dark plastic bag. Our would they stress to much ?

Day 84

From green to yellow

Finally i've cutted down the not flowering ones.. Since i realised to less time will be there to let them finish their long flowering period.
(i'm going on travelings for a while in a bit so .. )

Should have done this MUCH earlier to get a more even light division

Day 63

Just started flowering. Pistols showing.
So i'm estimating/hoping they grow still more and wider.
When another one is ready in the bigger tent. I'll move another one so they get the space they deserve finally..

Still not looking very happy.. They just got a watering so leaves will start going up again though.

Btw , with reading my journey/diary, it seems they are 10days behind the other ones. ( in comparisation )

I'm doing another tester and the taste/effect is quite nice. Where as this was not really a bud , more fluffy one that got not much light. So pretty happy

The biggest one is chopped down and weighs 260g wet. Looks very dense ! Not like the others.
I'm hoping on 60 Dry. time will tell.

So still 3left, i guess they will be for next week. I expect those 3 to be also nice harvests.
Totally already 170g being cured from the previous ones. I must say the taste is very nice ! And will probably become better from curing.
Seems my drying room does the job perfectly !

Then still the other 6 left. 4of them doing very good and are flourishing with the extra space they got.
2 are still overdrooped and not really nice. Need to make holes in those boxes on the sides so i can feel if they are really dry inside or not. ( again hard to under & overwater )

overall i'm getting fairly happy from the results.. This without feeding, to much plants on the space and without training..
