First closet grow. Be warned, very cheap, very ghetto.

A friend and I have started our first indoor closet grow. We are using neptunes harvest fish fertilizer and will switch to age old bloom for flowering. Everything seems to be going well, just got 5 plants transplanted out of a total 8. We only had 5 one gallon pots, as I said, very cheap grow. Altogether, including light, we have roughly 250-300 into this grow. Using some reggie bagseed from so called "mids". Pretty much just a learning run. Wish us luck. These all broke ground between Jan. 24th-26th.

^i hope you arent doing 12/12 yet. you need an 18/6 cycle until they are a little bigger. at least a five tipped fan leaf, at the soonest

Bro they are not going well, the oldest are the worst and its due to lack of feeding they are stunted and underdeveloped. Get some veg hydro nutes ,use very watering at ph 6.5 so at least the young ones can get back to health. The ones you have repotted need N asap or forget it. Also make sure temps are below 80 and cfls for now as they have issues.

I'm not using cfl's. 400 watt m/h currently, then switching to hps for flower. I'm not doing 12/12 it's 18/6. I was going to do 12/12 from seed, but it's reggie seeds and I don't know how they'd respond. They went 4 days or so without attention cuz my friend had to leave town. We've gotten some nutes into them, and believe it or not that's a drastic change compared to what we came home to. They are gaining their green back. The temp is right around 80. What would you suggest for veg nutes? Could I just do miracle grow veg for tomatoes? I gave them an 1/8 strength dose of the flower nutes, that's what has brought back what green you do currently see.

Also, as far as plants per light, these are regular seeds so at least half (I'm guessing) will be males. Will probably just end up keeping 2 females since I do only have the one light and limited space, but again this is a learning experience. Any actual product gained will simply be a plus. Just learning the ropes.

--BUDS is right, your plants look like they need more N, i'd suggest stop feeding them flower nutes, and try the MG veg nutes you mentioned (but try half strength), don't overwater :) This is your first run, no worries, like you said, your just learning what works and what doesn't~

I can't seem to locate a "vegetative" nutrient. Is there a different name miracle grow uses for that stage, or am I just missing it completely?

You can 12/12 from sprout..youll ony get a 1/4 per plant but its doable lol
you guys are silly.... 12/12 from seed with a 400hps the entire time, looks like more then a 1/4 per plant to me:

Iv got hundres if not thousands of seeds and 12/12 from seed is great because of my space requirements. I just germ a bunch of seeds and flower the best looking females.

Good luck on your grow. ill be looking out. :)

12/12 from seed works great, like shown above! You kids dont know what you are talking about, obviously.Do a couple grows before giving advice.

What about with schwag bagseed? Do you believe they would respond well to 12/12? I just wasn't sure if they would do well since there's no real genetics there.

Anything can grow under 12/12 light it is just the yield that will be effected. This is best route for you in my opinion so you do not spend much on electric on a learning experience feel me?

Atleast that way you can cull the males as soon as possible as well. Ya with that HID i would look to cut that electric bill a little if possible since you said its mids, can turn some mids into dank when grown sensi as a side note so get rid of those males!

I saw miracle grow mentioned.. my recommendation: avoid miracle grow at all costs unless/until you're solid enough in how time-release ferts will affect your plants.. they can and will fuck your shit up at a moments notice.
