~ Sorry to those who have been following this thread, I have been busy getting ready for school and work everyday that just trimming and manicuring this last grow was a pain. in the last Led Grow attempt I started with 3 Clones, one was improperly rooted or had early root damage and could not recover. With only two plants and the condition they endured, and having be week and a half early, I still pulled a decent two and a half ounces. The only problem was the hairs and fibers in the air got stucked during the last few weeks, I ended up having to sift the whole batch and remove all the hairs with tweezers. I will say this thou the end product is nice tight medium sized nuggets and a few larger ones. The smoke was great, the cross of the trainwreck and tai gave it a sweet smooth taste and the sour diesel gave it the punch. It sneaks up on you, I would smoke two or three large bowls because I would not get instantly high but then Bamm! a few minutes later it fucks you up. This strain will be definitely grown again in future grows. For the Next Grow I Have gotten a few more Items to Improve it.

Day 1 81-76F 40-70% Humidity 350-360ppm 6.3pH

Addition:

2 Cool O2 10 Inch 12 Vdc .7 mA

Transplant looks to be going nicely no wilting or color change, and temperature was good today. Ppm is a little high but I think this it from the Hydroton, even though I rinsed it thoroughly. The strain is Blue Dream, I went with it because it is a well rounded strain, is easy to grow and yields nicely. The Plan is to go a week on just the T5 Lighting with the 6500K bulbs and then turn the Led lights on for the remaining two weeks of the vegetative period. Then replace the 6500K bulbs for the 3000K bulbs and start the flowering period for the 8-9 weeks. I plan to top twice, once after a week and half and then right before I switch to the flowering period. The Cool O2 Fans are a nice fix to the circulation issues I was having in the last setup they are very thin fans that can run off battery power, but otherwise are powered by a dc converter wall plug. They use very little wattage around ten watts on high each. I use the low setting as I don't want to dry the plants out to much. They hang from white chain so I can raise them as the plants grow. I will post pictures weekly.

Day 8 78-82F 42-50% Humidity 500ppm 6.0pH

They are looking good so far with little yellowing from the pH before. The Led has been on now for a day and I wish I had turned it on sooner. The clones seem to love it, all are at seven leaves that are semi dark greenwith no wilting. I am going to veg them tell they are 10-12" tall, then top them and switch them to flowering. Here are the pictures.

Day 14 81-83F 47-55% Humidity 500ppm 6.0pH

Things are looking good, the growth is better this time around with the aid of the Led lights. Going into the third week now they have at least three more inches to grow, and are dense with foliage and hardy stems already. They have been topped once, about two to three days ago. I plan to switch them into flowering by my next post. I will be switching the T5's from the 6500K to the 3000K bulbs and switching nutes of course. Here are this weeks pictures.

They are from Calnursery, they are the newest version they are still single watt led, but that makes the panel cheaper and if these work they all can work. The info and specs are bellow, I don't believe all of it, especially the heat fact because my buddy has large 1000W HPS lights and they are cool to the touch on their hoods.

Looks pretty tight man. I wonder why I have never stumbled upon this brand. It looks like all is faring well. We shall see when flowers come. So you have 240W total going on in there? Seems like a fair enough amount to replace 400W worth of hid, or slightly better, don't you think?

Good lookin updates, keep it going!

Day 28 72-76F 26-33% Humidity 520ppm 5.7pH

After the first week of flowering the growth is still fast and strong, there are visible flowering sites all over with the small white hairs. I have to say these are more on schedule this time unlike the previous attempt with no T5's adding to the Led spectrum. I have been thinning the number of lower sites that would only produce popcorn, and removing shade leaves. Here are today's pictures.

Day 36 72-75F 33-44% Humidity 520ppm 5.7pH

End of week two staring week three of flowering they are looking nice with all the top shade leaves removed, all of the sites have more light now. I removed a lot of undergrowth again as it would just lead to more popcorn, and that is a waste of energy. Here are some more pictures.
