First case of THC-overdose Ever :)

DSCN0595.JPG This cola was quick-dried because we were out of smoke, which of course is unacceptable :o so we nuke a little at a time in the microwave. Of course I am not condoning this, but it has been keeping us baked ever since harvest, so about 4 days now. It's hard to watch your buds dry when you don't have anything in the stash jar. I'm amassing a bit of trim too, but haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet. Probably medibles, like some triple fudge brownies:-P

Congrats on your first harvest.

You've spent weeks and weeks growing it; don't mess it up by drying too fast...

I understand being out. But you must also understand that sometimes tolerance breaks are good, and forcing oneself to be patient is good self discipline.

The pics look good. Yes, you didn't get much. But next time will be better, eh?

Any pics of the whole plant and also the set up while you're at it?

DSCN0564.JPG About 65% of the garden shown here. 2 65w 2700k overhead, and one on the side. When my hps was still running i had an actual "set-up" with white plastic on the walls, etc. but when my h.i.d. died, i had to tear down everything to set-up my new lighting system. It was a major pain the the ass initially, as the lamps lack intensity and must be kept close to the canopy. My haze hybrid had other plans... and stretched to about 3.5' tall ! I finally snapped the meristems and trained them horizontally. They recovered well and packed on the heat for the next 5 weeks. Here are some old pics- (2-3wks ago).

DSCN0648.JPG My biggest cola under these Lamps. 25 days to go- It was trained earlier but still grew vertically so i adjusted the lamps accordingly.

DSCN0587.JPG One of my problematic Sativa Phenos. Stretched SO damn much (even under my hps) that when i switched to CFL's I just bent her gangly-ass over in half and trained her to grow horizontally. She was over 3.5' tall when unchecked. She has a sweet, citrus-candy smell that is DELISH :)

Thanks Senile,
You're very correct about what you say. Drying/curing is super-important and can really affect the end product. Also, letting the tolerance drop is good practice on a regular basis. I quick-dried a little (maybe 4-5g) and am letting the rest dry/cure naturally. Thanks for stopping in! :peace:

The black ant is in a coma. I know cause this happened
to a friends dog that ate half of the pot brownies out of
a large baking pan that was cooling down on the
kitchen counter. After eating the goodies the medium sized dog laid on its side and fell
into a coma for 3 days with it's tongue sticking out
the whole time and was unresponsive and stayed like this for the 3 days.
My buddy had to squirt water in it's mouth throughout to keep
his dog from dehydrating and it worked. Doggy came to slowly finally
and all was good again. THC Comas are real and I was there to
see one on day 2.
Whoa dude, i guess i better keep my 3 mutts away from my brownies !!

I'd imagine that marijuana itself is metabolized similarly in dogs to humans, being that we're all mammals and whatnot. Chocolate is a no go for sure though
