First attempt at cloning

1. Without building/buying a cloner, is ii legit to just use soil? I also have coco?

Any other suggestions?

Ive only done it once but i cut the clones dipped em in rooting powder and straight into soil put homemade domes on them made from 2 litre bottles and bam 3 for 3

Right on man, Im going to try in soil to begin with most likely. I have a healthy plant but I dont like how it got trained (I was busy) so I was debating on taking like 10 clones from her (still in veg but female.)

Im ordering Bioag Fulpower tonight so ill grab a small thing of clonex while im at it. Try a comparison between clonex and aloe.

If you have honey, you don't need clonex. Just trying to save you money.

Make sure you spray the leaves and inside your dome with water a couple times a day

Give it a shot. I use a bubble cloner, but it was taking around 12 days with clonex. Honey dropped that down to 9-10 days but the bigger improvement is in the root mass it puts out.

I have some in the cloner now that are 3 days old. I'll put a pic up at 9-10 days when they get there.

5 dollars.. it comes in a little cool aid looking packet. Makes 50 clones easy. You can't reseale it.. When I need to clone I buy one use as much as I need then throw the rest away..

I saw those little packets, didnt realize it can do so many clones. Only issue with that is Id throw a bunch away, might just buy the smallest jar of the cloning GEL.

Yea I buy the packets because I feel like the gel gets old and doesn't work as well later.

They said they sent it out, but I checked the mail and got almost the whole house and garden line instead. Idk if its from them but, Ill check the mail tom. They said theyd send it out immediately tho, hit em up.

Easiest way i have found is a jar of water sitting on the window sill, change water every second day. Once rooted put into chosen medium!!

I tried it once and I hated how the stem formed into a 90 degree angle like in your picture -- it was a real pain in the ass trying to keep multiple clones in a cup. lol

Yeah i use baby food jars which are only good for 2/3 clones per jar. Is annoying but more, for giving i think.

They certainly wouldn't send out house and garden. You must've got a sample from someone else. It'll show up. And if it doesn't they'll resend with dome swag like shirts or stickers. Pretty cool place actually. I'd ask for a sample of their Harpin protrin and their microbes/bennies too. Good luck
