word. the church is soo bomb. Well, 4 ladies got cut this morning, to the drying room they went.. sorry raider, but I didn't pick up the H&G line with Coco... I am going to go that route through a DIY drip system I'm going to make within the next couple weeks, or months lol. But I picked up some peruvian and mexican guano, kelp, ew castings, liquid karma, and a foliar innoculant.. I'm going to be brewing teas for them, supplementing every third watering. Everything but the foliar spray will be combined for the veg tea... then for the floweing i pretty much double everything i add for the veg, plus some mexican guano.. the foliar will be supplemented once a week, on intervals with nitrozime... also picked up 2 submersible pumps with 2 pieces of 20 foot line for the 2 55 gal drums I'm picking up tonight from a local.... 1 of the drums will always contain fresh water, and the other will be used to combine the fresh water with the teas, then pumped to the plants.... eventually want to get a pond pump in the mixing res so i can water with a wand rather than just a valve... still a lot better than hauling pots around... pics of the 4 drying girls will come tonight, I've got a busy day ahead of me...

the dude @ my g-shop sucks H&G's dick, straight up. He said he doesn't use anything else, and probably won't as long as their line is on the market.... but he just got the General Organics line in... I compared them to Bio-Bizz (In my eyes the best organic nutrient line on the market), and it looks like GO stole their recipe, and perfected it. Def want to try it out...

lol It sounds like you got your shit dialed now man. That is a sick set-up, can't wait to see it. I will be watching this one closely, I am interested in seeing how the brews work. I have heard great things. :joint:

thanks raider, I fed with the veg brew this morning, diluted to the roots, and undiluted to the foliar.... when you walk into the veg room, you can already smell the difference :)...

nice Reaver, I haven't gotten into the brews and teas. Did you get the watering system setup? I have the Sealeaves international house of guanos 4 pack, but rarely use it.

Hey ReAVeR
i have been reading your journal and they turned out beautiful. Its been great following your grow. I have some Blackjack being sent to me as i speak and this will be my first grow. I have done my homework over the past couple months and the only thing i am a bit nervous about is the Nutes. I am only going to be growing 1 for myself and want to make it as perfect as i can. i have a 400watt HPS, 5 gallon pot, mylar siding and will be buying some organic soil which i will be mixing in some pearlite. If possible maybe you could give a quick sum up of your growing technique.

I would be very happy if you shared some of your veteran knowledge with a Newb. I have some questions below that if you want to answer them that would be great if not thats ok to i know your not getting paid to answer every new guys questions.

1. What Nutes should i use and for each stage of development? theres so many brands and combinations i feel a little overwhelmed.
2. How much Nutes i.e. dosage per serving and often?
3. how long do you veg?
4. What hours of lighting did you use for each stage?
5. How often did you flush the salts from the soil?

Also do you have any tricks that would help the resin production?

any questions you could answer would really help this first timer, i know it is a lot especially since this is my first post and in your thread non the less.
anyways thanks again for taking the time to read this.

i think im gonna go with big bloom, tiger bloom and take Wonderblunders advice and add cha ching to the mix and follow the fox farm feeding schedg. start with big bloom 3-4 weeks into veg then tiger when i switch to 12/12 then add cha ching 5 weeks into flowering. Just keep stacking them until harvest and start oout with 1/4 dosages and work up to half or full. I am also thinking about prolonging the veg stage to about 6-8 weeks what do you guys think?
Sorry Reaver i know most of my questions i asked earlier you already answered in previous posts. But i am curious about how you had your flushing schedule and how it effected the plants?

May I add my two cents?
Welcome to RIU. Here are a few things that I do in my garden.
-If your plants are fairly large ( at least a foot or 16") you can start more than 1/4 strength.
-In Veg, I foliar feed as often as possible (as much as 2X a day) and I see the results; It will help speed things up
- I use Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom together through flower( veg would be big bloom and grow big)
- Add the Cha Ching when you resin production starts(unless it hasn't by 5th week)
- Humboldt's Snow Storm Ultra is cheap and I think helps produce resin
-Letting the soil dry out is key in resin production.

Sorry Reav

thanks for the tips wonderblunder. Much appreciated. and i'm glad i found this awesome forum. by the way i was also wondering if it would be ok to veg in a 5 gallon pot? so i would go from seeding straight to the 5 gallon. i should probably stop posting these questions in reavers journal thread : )
