First ag grow why is it to long twiggy not bushy

thanks guys

yeah males hate them. thats why this grow i wanted to be sure so i got a fem seed. i should of researched more on this lowryder since ive heard they grow weird.
the reason i choose it was cause i thought it wasnt going to get bigger then 16inches which is what i was looking 4 but right now shes currently 28inches. next time ill go for quality of smoke rather than size. not complaining though shes doing pretty good no major problems except i keep burning her with the lights got that under control now that i think shes done growing upwards. heres a few more pics day 49 i need to get something for the smell she reaks in a good way . comments suggestions are welcome thanx for keeping up with my grow.

They just about triple in size when you flower, for most strains you can just switch to the flower cycle once they reach the height you like, looks damn good, really frosty

OK they say lowryders have a lifespan of 60 days "dont know bout that" but im currently in day 51 and i know u should give her just water the last 2 weeks, so you dont taste the nutes when you smoke it.


my question is what should i go by to determine when to start giving her just water? i know the trichs but i have no microscope and the hairs need to be 80% orange but should i start the flush when the hairs is at the 80% mark or try and guess two weeks b4 it hits 80%


or should i just invest in that radio shack microscope to be sure. this is my first succesful grow and i dont want to pass up the plants perfect due date.

heres a few pics of the buds forming i still think its to early the hairs just barely started changing and thats on a select few. think shes going over its lifespan, so that 60 day lifespan from the jointdoctors lowryder seed not reliable.

My first lowryder grow went through 2.5 months of flowring way over life span of 60 days. It was more near 90 days. Those were from joint doctors LR. You plant is looking really good, maybe a week more.

thanks yeah i was reading through your old thread of the lowryder got lots of good info that helped me out before i got brave enough to post a thread of my own. so when do you think i should start giving the plant just water now or a week from now. i wonder what my yield is going to be

You need to put lighting on the side of the plant while vegging/

well she first showed her pretty white hairs on day 22 and tomorrow sheel be 54days old so I beleave that's 32days into flowering if I did that right. I'd say bout 15 percent of the hairs are orange I'm going to get the scope prob tomorrow or fri. I'll be posting more pics tomorrow

oh yeah since she's almost 7 weeks into flowering should I start giving her ph'd water at the 8week mark

Finally got the scope and its hard trying to take a look at the trichs while on the plant. do i trim a piece of leaf and take a better look at it. but from what i can see no amber yet and the trichs are gee im not sure anyone have pics on what trichs are suppose to look and at what stage would be very appreciative. i did see a few cloudy ones from what i looked at, but im still having trouble getting a good look at them so not 100% sure the hairs are at 30% orange now ill problably start giving her plain water tomorrow. let me know if it is a good idea to switch the water or if you think its to early thanks

but yeah i would say its half clear and half cloudy

Heres the pics update i mentioned i was going to post but didnt, low battery.
i switched to plain ph'd water today i hope i didnt wait to long for that process let me know what you think shes a Lowryder currently on day 56 from germination and day 35 of flowering.

Yea man you just take a lil leave off an examine it, but try and do it sparingly, you dont wanna chop her up everyday checcing on the trics, she looks game good tho, cant wait for this harvest
