Hey everyone,
I'm not a MJ grower but I am a head grower for a large commercial hydroponics greenhouse. I've only dabbled in aeroponics in college but I thought I would get your input on a system like this for the house?
This was just a quick draw up I did on my tablet. I know the break tanks are a bit much. Not thinking about recirculating drain at this point.
For an irrigation controller I'm using an open sprinkler to control all solenoid valves as well as remote sockets for lighting schedules. It's really neat. This guy ray does it on the side.
I have the dosatrons and stock tanks already just laying around. We use much more intense fertilizer injection systems in the greenhouse.
So these nozzles I have calculated in here are .0735gpm nozzles, and if I ran for 5 seconds on 300 seconds (5 mins off) for 24 hours each nozzle calculates to about 10 gallons per day (which seems like a lot.) Not even sure I can connect high pressure mist nozzles to an irrigation header like this.
Another nozzle I came across is: Teffen on amazon. I'd like to screw something into PVC that I tap and thread but then I'm wondering how much of a pain it would be to change them out if I have to reach inside the PVC pipe (doubtful I'd be able to).
What is your experience with nozzle design?
Note: I'd be growing spinach in this.
