I think the 325 temperature is the one you want. I believe that's where THC acid converts to delta 9 thc. then you can eat it and your liver in turn converts it to 11 hydroxy thc, supposidly this gets you even higher.
but the way I think it goes is, you can't go from THC A to 11 hydroxy THC, you need to go from THC A to D9THC to 11HYDROXY THC. that's just info for the chemists here.
I've read even more shit on this. apparently you can use an isomerism reaction with sulfuric acid to convert the THC into several forms. it got pretty comlicated from there and not really worth my time.
I've also read that hydroxy-11thc is a non-psychoactive version of thc, the kind stored in fat. certain types of thc bind with certain cannabinoid receptors to have that high effect. when they are in different forms they don't bind with the same ones or do the same things so they all have different effects. as weed has many cannabinoids this adds diversity to the highs you can get in your weed, and the way you cook and process the weed later on.
