Ok, after failing horribly with my first grow (lowryder ak47) im currently germing 5 reg g13 power skunks.

Now im not sure what im going to do for my lighting, i currently have a pc with 3 cfl's in there 2 27w 5500k and 1 26w that doesnt say the color temp on the box or the bulb so idk what it is.. I have more room than that but im gonna start them in there while i figure out what im going to do for another box/lighting. Thats where i'll need your help, im thinking about getting a 150hps and using that for the plants. Or, just getting a lot of cfl's for my first grow and seeing how they do. Or a 70w? not sure please help me out on that.. dont have a grow box constructed yet so feed me some ideas, maybe in a rubbermaid to give you some ideas for a case.


Ill get some pics of my pc case for some ideas (it doesnt have anything for relection in there, so i'd like to get another box going asap)

First grow was just my stupidity, which im sure will also happen a lot here but thats why im makin a journal, hoping that people will help me out with what im doing wrong.

more at once means less growing per year hence
have plants in your house 24/7 and weed
or just have weed 24/7 and have plants part time?

ok, the reason i was questioning the 150w hps is because its 100 bucks for the whole setup at the closest hydro store around here and im low on cash. Figured that was a decent price for what i was looking for, plus 20 for foxfarm soil.
If it makes a difference i'm gonna keep the plants kind of small, its nothing thats gonna be growing huge, i'd like to keep them a couple feet high.

Sorry but i dont understand what your askin me, you saying would i rather have weed to smoke, or plants growing more? I dont get it.

Sorry but i dont understand what your askin me, you saying would i rather have weed to smoke, or plants growing more? I dont get it.

i'd say just get a 250 or a 400 then..u can grow with a 400 watt and put ur plant straight into flowering and that way it wont b hella tall

Yeah i may price out the 250w. What could i do for having a mother plant for clones though? I have the pc box and the box that im yet to figure out with a 250w hps on

I mean grow more at once instead of keeping a crop around all the time.... if its personal.

I'd like to have a mother but i didn't think about just growing a shit load then I'll be set for some months and start when i think i'm going to run out within a couple months

5 g13 seeds hit the seed starters i have. just waiting for them to get to their size and then ill be getting some fox farm soil to put them in.

Ok, little update.

I have 4 plants in soil, one didn't break the starter soil.

I have 2 in my window because i only have 5 cfl's which isn't gonna do anything for 4 plants

1 is almost dieing, i'll get some pics up so you guys can maybe help me out but i think its from the transplant from the seed starter to the soil.
