Finally Germinated....need Help

I'm growing MI5 autos and some other mystery auto. I let the seeds soak overnight in warm water, 4 out of 6 had taproot. When I put them in the rockwool I thought I put them taproot down, but I was high so really can't remember. Today all have their taproot but some are upside down. Should I just let them do their thing or position them with the taproot down? Also, I turned on the MH to keep them warm, it's very high up or should I turn it off and wait for their leaves?

So the taproot came back out of the rockwool? If the seedling is upside down as it comes out that is fine, it will straighten out. Spray with some ph balanced water to aid in removal of shell. The metal halide is ok if it is 5-6 ft away.
Next time just throw the seed in the rockwool and wait for it to pop.

it's natural for the root to twist around down. they should be planted twith the tip pointed up unless they've really sretched out already.

This probably explains the design of the seed. Think when the parent plant drops the seed the heavy end falls first resulting in the pointed end being planted up. Evolution continues to contribute to certain things when proven useful. <---Just a theory everyone, please dont ask for sources or quotes. LOL.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to leave them alone for now and see what happens. Nice to know for next time though.

Your welcome...new growers tend to want to "just do something" with the plants. Just leave em be like a plant growing outdoors. They will know what to do, just provide them with light, water and nutrients.
