Final Purchase review

After months of research ive decided on the setup below.
I would like some input from all growers. All opinions are welcomed. I would like to know if their are any flaws in my setup or method before final purchase.

1. SETUP

• HLG 240(B) Dimmable driver
• standard heatsink
• 5 sxb3590s @56% @50w
• 5 Kb lenses
• 2x4x5 tent (Veg/Flow)
• 6"extract fan W/Remote
• 2 5 gallon pots
• Fox Farm tiger bloom series
• fans...etc,etc

2. METHOD

• 2 AK47 plants
• Monster crop to keep plant under 1 foot
• when 1 foot is reached i will flip plant
• looking for 4 week veg but I have height restrictions
• 4 week flower

only 4 week vege for a monstercrop?
and only a 4 week flower?
How much height do you have to play with?

I need plants to be short and wide

IMPOSSIBLE!
If you do lst pinch bend and training you could go for 6 week vegg and stay under 1 foot easy...but you will need a screen to make it easier...not a net...a screen like in scrog...just put it at 1 foot and attach the plant to it while it grow and fill the screen!
But 4 weeks would be great...I agree...!
Ak 47 need 9/10 weeks of bloom (the last I done took 75days if I remember well...5/6 years ago!)!
So you are going for 13/14 weeks of grow no less.....

I've never done an AK 47 that was properly done flowering earlier than 11 weeks.........some were even 12 weeks.

think i see what your doing your adding your veg time and the time since you flip together and think that counts towards total time flower..flower time starts from flip does not include veg time..maybe I'm wrong but thats what it looks like you were thinking

Sorry to hijack the thread just want to ask u a q about scrog. I have an og kush I'm going to scrog. 100-150% stretch. I want to know how much of the screen should I feel before I flip? I always here 75% as a general rule, this sound right?

Yes it is the average time...but short indica must fill 85/90% off the screen and long sativa(20 weeks) 35/40% only or even less...lol! (But not advise because of mold issue in scrog!)
For the.AK fill it about 60/70%!
If the main cola grow too fast just pinch it...no problem jist press it slow and wait for a pop...the plant will be well in a few days...go for it! (Every time I pinch...every pair of leaves I twist the top a bit (1/4 of turn) to get all the new branches on the side!)

If you're talking to me.......proper flowering time for AK 47 FROM THE LIGHT FLIP is 11-12 weeks. To think this would finish in 8-9 weeks like the breeder claims is a joke.

First of all, what is a "standard" heatsink? :/
& what 240 driver are you going to use for 5 cobs? The 1400 is what you'll need for your 50Ws.
