Final day of Querkle Flowering, not sure if ready

This is my first grow so I'm truly not sure if these are ready, I personally want them to be ready right now but I don't want to pick too soon and I know everyone here and RIU knows what's good. I'll be back from work in 6 hours hopefully I'll get a response here, if so it's time to chop. Happy toking :joint::joint:

well it looks good man! if the buds have fattened up and the trich are milky white and verry few amber then yes how many weeks are you into flowering?

honestly that plant looks ready, But, you should make sure to take a look at the trichs, and make sure there where you want them to be, you want them to be cloudy milky with about 40% amber, depending on your prefference of effects... it looks awesome bro, your defenitely within that harvest window!! It must feel good!?

I see 2 new sets of pistils poking out. I'd give it a couple days and see if it's still pushing new sets out. In any case, get a 12 dollar 60x lighted microscope from Radio Shack and look at the trichomes. Then you'll know for sure. I like a bit more amber in mine... 20% or better if I have the time.

I think it could probably go another week or two, but a full-length picture of the plant in question would help. That cola definitely looks like it could get fatter, imo.

Mine will be at 8 wks. on Jan 6. It looks a lot like yours- I'm playing it by ear as it's my first time with Querkle, or TGA, for that matter, so I can't give you any tips. I had expected longer than 8, but it looks about ready, mostly cloudy, some amber, some clear on lower buds. I just don't know if it will retain flavor if it goes too long. I'll probably take a few branches off and leave some to ripen for a week or so to compare.

I'll update some more pictures tomorrow, the lights just went on. Thank you for responses everyone, the plant is currently in day 55 of flower. Flavor is the more important thing for me here so I definitely don't want this to go too long. I'm debating it, but I think I'll end up harvesting this particular plant tomorrow. My other 4 plants are very far behind; don't look a thing like this. Peace till then

NICE!!! I'm at day 45 with 2 querks.....They are looking delicious. Question for you other subcool testers.....1...Is it me, or do these plants seem to wanna finish a bit early? I'm very surprised how quickly the trichs pushed out and turned milky. Don't wanna let them go too long, but they gotta finish! 2....Anyone getting yields that are (or seem like they will be) smaller than usual? I have 2 querks and a vanilla kush.....Compared to ALL my other strains, they just look a bit....skimpy. :(

Bushy, I have grown alot of querkle and I can say that is one strain that is always finishing early. ALOT of subs gear finish's early but especially querkle. Also, when it comes to sub's gear, its my general observation that they never care about yields. They are all about flavor and effects so they dont focus on commercial properties when breeding. However, tga does have strains that are very nice yielders such as agent orange, jilly bean, and qleaner has some monster pheno's. Its the double edge sword effects as some call it. Great flavor and effect but low yield, or high yield and low effects. Plus with the really indica dom genes ( like querkle) IMO, its best to pull a tad early that way u dont get that really killer heavy couchlock.

Fucking DUR! Thanks wolvey, it totally is. Not sure why I blanked on that?!...Well the querks are on day 50 and look good. They seem done, but 50 days feels weird for me! I'm gonna let em go at least 3 more days. The vanilla kush is really starting to look beautiful. I wasn't sure about it at first because of it's STRANGE calyx/leaf shape. BUT it's trichs have trichs on them. :) My querks only have purple coloring on the tips of the calyxes (not that I giva a shit, I think purple=novelty, just surprised) everyone else's seem VERY violet. Different phenos? Eh, either way the querks smell like trainwreck a LOT to me.

Interesting. I'm curious to know what you think of the Querkle when it's finished, it's one I've been giving a good hard look. The Vanilla Kush as well, a buddy of mine was supposed to have a cut for me a few weeks ago but I haven't seen it yet...

Holy shit. Just checked the querks with a loupe and they even have a few amber trichs which is NOT my style. They've had straight water for the last week because I was anticipating this. Guess they're coming down! 51 days?! Wow. I'll let you know the verdict after a nice cure wolfman!

I only got one cutting of the Vanilla because I already don't have room for another strain. It grew weird and lanky in veg and I thought it was gonna be trash. I took 4 cuts just for the hell of it. I am so damn glad I did! It is starting to smell like straight up, no bullshit VANILLA. It alsmost makes me sick to smell it it's SO sweet. Like sickly sweet. Now the GDP and Urkle cuts that vegged like shit did NOT get cuttings taken. What a retarded Bushman. The GDP smells like grape bubblegum and is stacked with trichers.:wall:

Fuck. I know. They haven't come down. I'll probably take one down soon and let one go longer. Then I'll know. And knowing is half the battle.

my querkle showed first signs of buds mar.25 today is 1 month & 1 pheno is definatly faster than the other 2 although not showing promise as a large yielder its not too bad im guessing about 1-1/2 - 2 oz. per plant & 1 pheno has the potential for a little more ive screwed up something in my photo gallery & cant post any new pics but querkle is definatly one of the prettiest strains i have grown
