fimming / topping problem

is it possible that after fimming the new growth tht the cut got burned will they still grow or not:idea:
 
idk but I have an more of a sativa hybrid. I kept F.I.M. 'ing it. maybe too much. nothing grew back and now i have a 6 inch main stem that just ends. lol idk been over 2 weeks. i just clipped it again. I bet a grapht will work. maybe ill try. its first week of flower and it a long flower period. Any body with a similar problem?

Wow....that post waited a long time for a response!

LOL, well, if all you have is a stump, then you went too far.

I am hardly a FIM expert, but I have really been enjoying watching
how my plants have reacted to my attempts.

When I am making a clone-mother, then I want a bushier plant,
and then when I FIM, even if I end up just topping, then I still
get the effect I need.

...and the effects are cool. Some have burst into more than
branches than others, and some have left the side nodes still
taking over the dominant position....in spite of the center node
still continuing to grow. (weird parallel branches)

Take it easy, and let the plant grow out a bit more before you
go in with the scissors next time.
