FIMING and TOPPING question

Hey guys, I have 3 plants that I flipped to flowering 12 days ago and I would like to know if it is too late to TOP or FIM them.

The problem is that one plant is getting way too big for my grow cabinet, here is my log.

Day one of flowering.
C99 #1 16''
C99 #2 16''
PPP 14''

Day 12 of flowering
C99 #1 20.5''
C99 #2 22''
PPP 23''

After only 12 days of flowering, my PPP plant gained 9 inches(64% gain!) and I am scared that if it doesn't slow down, it might get too big for my cabinet. It is my first grow so I don't know if its normal for plants to grow that fast into flowering.

PS: I FIMMED both C99 plants because they were tall and thin but not the PPP because it was short and bushy. PS#2 : I also gave nutes to my plants (20-20-20) for the first time when I started flowering, that may explain why they are growing so fast. ( Iknow that I should have used proper nutes since the start)

Thank you

You would SC the main stalk? If so, how far from the end of the plant?
Also, does the plant grow for all the duration of the flowering stage?
Yes I would do the main stalk. As for height ,it really depending on the space I'm working with and also the current structure of the plant (what do I want to delay and what to promote).

The plant will definitely grow for the duration of its life, however the majority of its "stretch" should be done within 3 weeks or so from the time you flip the flower

I have about 8'' left and the width of the plant is perfect, I only want to slow its growth.

Way to late to top, could try another FIM to stunt the apical growth. I don't disagree with super cropping but this late in would be worried about it slowing down production at a critical time.

Just my humble opinion.

I wouldnt do any topping or fimming during flower as that could put the plant into shock and decrease yields.

Plants do a have a stretch for the first couple weeks of flower, so this is completely normal. It will stop once they are no longer in the transitional phase.
