here's the deal with topping, training, fim'ing, and all that. if you want one plant to take up as much room under a light as possible there by having more bud sites then by all means try it. if you have the ability to have alot of plants, then one central cola is prolly easier for most new growers to handle.

Pretty much right, FIMing is also a luck of the draw, sometimes you miss and sometimes not...

Here is how it works
FIM gives you 4 colas (tops) instead of 1
Topping you cut off the top and it makes the plant work on the other bud sites rather than 1 top
LST is where you train the plant by bending so it can get as much light as possible.

WelcomeBro! To RIU! Welcome; My FIM attempt was a somewhat success, I got 3 top 'colas' now.
