Filter question

I need to buy a filter for my room. Has anyone used a filter by profilters? The one I'm looking at is the profilter 45s but I can't find how much actual carbon is in it. It weights like 15-16 lbs but I can't find the carbon weight. Does anyone have any experance with these filters and if so how were they. Thanks

i have used that filter before and it works good, the trick with carbon filters is that you have to match the cfm rating of the filter to the fan, more often than not you need a rheostat which is basicly just a switch to turn down the speed of the fan so the air has enough dwell time in the filter to get all the stink out
