You had seeds from the 70's and you only wanted females? :wall: Please tell me you have seeds left, or some males in that crop.
Only 2 plants survived my wrath and they turned out to be Fems. I may try some colloidal spray on a clone for the peeps out there. Just heard about it recently.

I've recently been thinking about growing a few bushes of my favorite plant for myself personally. I have always enjoyed watching the process of growing and caring for the plant. Especially like it was in the movie "Gentlemen" where a group of guys robbed a man who liked to grow marijuana. I just recently watched that movie again and it does a great job of showing the whole process of how you should and shouldn't grow these plants

Had to tie down the top of one clone. I debated cutting 2" off but decided to not stress it out too much till I get some good leaves. The Sativa sprout high and the Indicas not so much. This will be challenging keeping the canopy the same height.

13g top at 62% rh. 33g total from that last pick.
This is going to be a good harvest. Probably going to be near 18 to 22 Ozs. There is a good number of these guys.

5.7 oz dried. A plant took forever to trim and looked more like I remember back in the day, POPCORN.

I tried a top that broke off a clone. Trichomes looked great I think. Wake and bake was very nice, a bit on the harsh side. I will start flushing the rest of the clones as they are near ready and some are ready now that I harvested this morn. Maybe that will help with harshness?

No time to flush. Everybody chopped. I cleaned out the washroom and will move all the plants from the tent to the washroom for flower tomorrow and turn tent to dry room. Got some Smurf seeds in the mail from a friend. I still have 2 of the 77 clones.
I never dried before trimming some. Being very dry climate here I saw on Mr Grow It to dry without much trimming and to cut whole plant at base. Give it a try.
Going to be hard to wait a month to cure.

I used this start to finish once
I stopped using any nutes when I put the 2 moms in 5 gal buckets shortly before 12/12. THe Pro-Mix soil I am using has 9mo nutes in it and when I added full strength bloom one plant had a major die off. Didn't add anything but water from then on on any of the plants.
I was told to use Pro-Mix but apparently not this one as I found out later. Seemed to work OK but maybe could of been better. It was KISS for sure.

I turned the tent into a dry tent. The small humidifier did little so I added this little setup which worked very well and neither had to run much to keep the tent at 70 RH, 60 Degs and then 60 RH later till trim and jar. I didn't have to fill the store bought one but every 4 days where before it didn't last the night and wouldn't get the tent to 40 rh if I was lucky.
THese wicking filters are about $20 for 2 and I set it in a nursery tray full of RO water. Fill it every 2 days with fan on low. With the fan on medium it will turn a 5x5x8 room to 84% RH over night by itself and use up all the water pretty much if left on with no controller. THe one in the tent also has a small USB fan on it too that you can barely see. I guess I could add some ducting of some sort but this was a quick test for proof of concept first. I take KISS to the extreme sometimes. LOL Maybe on the next grow I'll enclose it some how and make it more efficient. It also helps cool the tent too as I didn't have to run the AC as much.

it happens. I wasnt paying attention and I gave plain water to my seedlings in peat and gave dynagro to the ones in ocean forrest. The ones in peat yellowed up real nice and the ones in ocean forrest lockedup with purple stems. live and learn
