i havent paid for any programs/software nor music/movies/ etc etc in like 10 years

in fact, i was so bad...they wanted me to join the student IT staff....my professor was an advisor on the committee....

im talking about....setting my computer to get static IPs instead of dynamic....so whenever they would be working on some hub or the DHCP server, i would still have my internet connection. it would suck for all other dorm mates, but not me and my roommate.

hell, we even built a 'can-tenna' so we could log on the library's blazing fast ass wifi!

we hacked our router to use the signal from the can-tenna as the internet and rerouted it over the router itself....

we was getting like 1.5meg/second dloads off the wireless network from our library!

talk about raping IRC! we'd get 1-5gig files in less than 20-30 mins.... wtf! the following year they caught on and shut down all ports.

of course we still found ways around it! i fucking LOVE IT!!!

also getting 10mg fiber optic broadband on friday yey me. super fast! better than the copper connections anyway.

also with 300g hard drive used up i might have to invest in one of these 1tera byte external hard drives.

1tb is a must!

got a TB of NAS and i want to put more storage on my media center pc

yea 10 meg is great, but im greedy....i want more! Being an IT dude and working on super fast lines makes you really spoiled!

not to mention fucking wireless that goes faster than wired lines.... sad.

if Sprint doesnt go out of business, i would like to work for Sprint in their Wimax division....

yes 10 meg is fast but its also faster than standard. its fiber optic cables, not copper metal. no signal loss down fiber optic cables and no loss of signal from the exchange server no matter how far away from it u are (unlike copper connections)
