FFS Just found a hermi 4 weeks in PICS

Just went in for a look and found some of those dam yellow banana type things in this ones buds.

Pulled it out of my flowering room, can someone just confirm my thoughts. Seems a shame to chuck it now with 2 nice colas. Worth trimming up and smoking?

Ok this is what i plan to do, tell me if you think it is stupid idea. I ave a mother room with just 6 clones growing in at the moment can i just stick the plant in there for 12 hours a day and take it out over night etc. It couldnt mess the clones up right?
 
ummmm.. idk man.. i dont think RIGHT NOW>. it will mess up the clones.. but the only thing is.. if your plant starts to release pollen.. then it might stay in the room with the clones.. like stick to the walls or something.. and your room will be covered with pollen.. soo when the clones DO flower... they might have seeds...

maybe you could put the hermie in there... and just continue to spray the clones a couple times a day.. too try to keep ANY pollen off of them.... cuz arent you going to put the clones (once theyre ready) IN THE "flowering room.. or something like that??that way maybe the pollen will just stay in that room.. and it wont spread.. cuz honestly/... that plant looks fuckin NICE!!! and i would hate to see you toss it.. just because it will have a few seeds.. how many other plants do you have flowering right now??

it might be best to just leave the hermie in the room its in now....as long as you keep a VERY good eye on it.. you could just pluck those bananas off.. with sterilized tweezers.. and as long as you can keep up with plucking them off.. they wont fertilize any other plants.. or itself..

and also... i dont know the exact time frame or w.e.... but i now after a certain amount of weeks into flowering... a plant wont be affected by the pollen... like there wouldnt be enough time for seeds to grow and/or the seed pods might already be filled up with resin/thc.. hope i helpes at least a little.. lol.. lemme know what you end up doin with it
 
Yeah its a shame its not the biggest of the plants i didnt even top it, i just grew llike that. Got 12 others flowering so theres no chance i will put it back into fowering room.

My mother room is like this, light at the top clones on a shelf underneath and the hermi at the bottom. There is no fan in there t blow the pollen up so i think if i leave it there then clean the room after im ok?

Dont really wanna risk these clones though if there is a chance i might ruin them ill just chuck it or harvest it now, dunno

It floats through the air, and clings....all your plants will get pollinated. It can also go into the AC system, it's not even worth the risk...put it outside somewhere where nobody will find it.

I have a kushberry strain that is known for doing this, if I let it go the full 10 - 12 weeks like I want to, it will grow those everywhere. Good for making feminized seeds, every seed that will be on that plant will be 100% female. What you have there is a genetic asexual plant, that is not actually a hermie. A hermie will clearly express male flowers at the nodes of the plant, and it will create hermie seeds. What you are seeing there is not that, banana's growing from the flower section is a genetic trait. It's also a trait that can skip generations, meaning the resulting seeds may be worth keeping.

Yeah i suppose it could get on myclothes from room to room. cant put it outside temp about 30f. just going to get rid i think.
 
The only problem that you will have is that you may have to start again with the strain that is hermi.No dought that the mother or the clones that you have for the next grow will also be hermi.4 weeks in i would let nature run it's course and let it go full term and just remove any seeds that are in the buds.The one good thing is that you will get plenty of nice seeds from this strain and if you are growing more than one strain in the same room check to see if any other have also changed.It won't effect the yeild a great deal but that is why i like to stay clear of femanised seeds most fem seeds have the slitest male traits in them.The male in the seeds may only be very little but if the temp of the grow room is up and down or any change at all can send the seeds hermi.........................................tyke....................................................If the male flower has opened then it is pointless cutting it down bro waste of cannabis the others will have been pollanated any how.
 
i dont quite understand what you mean,

i bought 20 seeds and grew them the clones i have got are from 6 of the plants . this hermi was not cloned and it grew from seed, why would all the others be hermi.

no pollen was allowed to come out i noticed the signs and carefully removed it. checked all other plants and none are showing male flowerrs except this one.
