Those root riots looking pretty dry to me but its hard to tell.. I just know mine are usually wet af while the seeds are germinating. Technically it can take like 10 days if you wanna be absolutely positive nothing is happening.
Dude u saved me from the time you said they look dry to me watering their starting to come up. Thanks

Added some water with my dropper and bam about 30 min later they starting to come up. This my first run
I'm about 1/2 way through my 1st grow. I had a few self inflicted issues with the first popped set, so after a month I popped some more and these are doing much better. The originals didn't end up growing very big before going into flower. I'm running Auto's for the shorter run cycle for the learning curve.

I just ordered some of the starter plugs to try on the next round which I should be starting the end the month. I'll see if these pop any faster than the ones in soil did.

Auto grower here. I use your mix with Vigoro Perlite. Ratio - 2parts OF/2parts perlite/1part HF. I also amend with Medina Growing Green
and use no other fertilizer until 2-3 weeks into flower. Just what works for me after much trial and many errors.
I’m starting with autos. Do you leave your autos in that mix ratio the entire time and simply add fertilizer as you go?

was thinking of doing hydro but don’t think it’s worth the risk of flood while in an apartment if something were to go awry.

I do nothing except water and foliar spray with mixture of Medina Liquid Seaweed and molasses to protect against insects and
increase brix levels and resin production. About 2-3 weeks into flower I use HastaGro for plants at half strength every other watering.
This is productive for me.

They will probably stretch quite a bit at first, dont sweat it too much. I wait till they are about a week old, then transfer to solo cups 3/4's full. They stretch a bit more but just adding more soil as needed supports the stems. Usually by then they are thick enough to do their own thing

This girl on the right ( long leggy ) fell all the way down when I took the humidity dome off .. kinda panicking . Have you ever staked up a seedling ? What should I do

I would put that one in a solo cup filled half way or so, then add enough dirt to support the stem.
The others arent far from ready for the same treatment. Seedling can stretch quite a bit in a single day

Quick question just to get Idea on any issues I haven’t thought of already .. started 2 different strains (65-77day) gmo x grape pie and banana bog x sundae driver (56-65day) outta 6 seeds 4 seedlings made it so far. First time learning curve but was thinking popping 2-3 more seeds should I just go with same strains or try another ? 5x5 Tent under fluence spydr 2p, have 3 gal and 5 gal smart pots and these seedlings are 4 days old . Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks in advance

I'd pop more seeds, you are already doing multi strain so run some more or try some differnet strains doesn't matter...Personally I like variety so I run multiple strains usually

What is in cup ? .... FFOF or Hf ?
Happy frog is a bit “ lighter “ than FFOF , and will start seedlings pretty well. But they may need a little time to become adjustEd.

Do not soak entire cup , just a small amount to get started.
