few questions????

first question is my top growth is a lil lighter compared to the lower stuff could it be too close to the hps its a 400 watt 8 or 9 inches from tops temps stay between 75 and 78 lights on no lower than 70 lights off day 21 flower

next question is i had these plants in 3 gal pots up until 2 weeks into flower than i had to do a transplant to 5 gal i know i shouldnt do it in flower but they took to it nice problem now is roots are coming out of all the drain holes the roots coming out are about 10" long what should i do

only have 3 plants under the light 2 are 20" tall lots of lst prob about 20 tops on each the other is just one i put in as a clone straight 12/12 that is 12"

if you put your hand on top of your plant and it is to hot for your hand comforly then it is to hot for your plant the roots wil die off when light hits them i would leave them alone or cover with some thing so light do get them they mite need a little nutes for the other not understand good enough to coment on

i dont do the hand thing i dont think it works i can set my hand on the cool tube and its cool to the touch but i know i cant set it right on the plant so i dont see how that would help to determine how close to put it

I think your fine... new growth is always lighter for awhile
