few question for first hydro grow

Wat's the best medium to use for hydro systems on a budget? also i'm plannin on growin three plants could i do these all in a long tray together or should i use a single pot for each of um? and wat are some good nutrients to use? i've got some schultz and some MG all purpose but idk if i can use that for a hydro system?

I would recomend Hydroton Pellets. You can wash with hydrogen peroxide after you flower. Then re-use. Good Luck!

how much do those cost and could i get um at a normal plant store or do i need a hydro store?

I like to use Supernatural and Fox Farms products.They are both a ph balanced powder. They last a long time@1/4-1/2 tsp per gallon, which is 1/4-1/2 strenght and thats what I would recomend for Indicas less for Sativas. Single pots are easier when its time to transplant because the roots wont get tangled together. Some plant stores have the hydroton but its cheaper at the hydro store. In so Cal they cost about 35.00 for 50 lbs. Enough to fill about 6 or 7 waterfarm buckets
