Fertilizer Calculation Help?

Alright I am new to the site and plan on becoming an active member! I can upload pics here in a bit when I get my phone to have service.

I have "Scotts Select Plant Food" 10-10-10 for my 3-4 week olds. It is granular???? It has no instructions on diluting it in water :?. Please tell me I can successfully use it. The instructions on the back are not too specific but it does say for one square foot spread half a table spoon of the granuals.

Does anyone have successful experience with diluting granuals. A formula would be great. I will post pictures of my babies and the fertilizer instructions in a bit. If someone does have instructions, I will be making one gallon at a time, how much fert should I put in it?

Thanks so much for all the help,
Smokey McPot

Check my nutes on a budget link (in sig)

10-10-10 is good for veg but timed released nutes can cause problems, so I would advise against it

Here are the babies... how big from your guy's experiences can a container a bit bigger than 1 gallon handle.... like a 2 foot tall plant?

Also!!!! I have a 250 MH bulb but its like 4300k or 4800k ...but a shit ton of lumens. Can this veg my plant pretty good or should I throw a few 5600k CFLs... I preferably would not like to seeing as I dont want too much wattage going at once.
