Feminizing seeds? Is that even possible?

So as it's come to my recent attention that both my females are also males. I do not have the time to pick off all the pollen sacs and i am just going to have to live with the fact i'll have seedy weed. My question is... Is there a way to feminize the seeds so that when i plant them that all the sprouts will be little girls?

there is no way for you to do this with what you have. true female seeds are made not by forcing hermaphroditic tendencies but by allowing them to show naturally after the flowering stage of growth. the herm pollen is collected and dusted on the hairs of a different female earlier on in her flowering stage.

No.. feminized seeds are a myth. A female that self pollinates only creates normal seeds. Any grow room gets them.

You can get about 95% female seeds from a self pollinating female, not a true hermy. A female plant grown sinsemilla style, late in it's life cycle will occassionaly kick out a few male flowers in an effort to reproduce. The seeds resulting from this will generally run 90-95% female in the next generation.

A true hermaphrodite, showing a near equal ratio of male and female flowers will just get you more hermies in the upcoming generations, from my experience.

A lot of fly by night seed banks/houses go the hermie route to produce their "feminized" seeds. That's why you see people posting on the various weed forums about getting stuck w/ 6 or 7 hermies in a 10 pack of feminized seed.

BTW,don't be too bummed about your hermies. The best weed I smoked in '09 was Northern Lights hermie a friend had chopped. I picked all the female buds off of it. Got about an ounce and a half of dry popcorn bud that would put you on your ass.
