I have grown for years with good genetics but never used feminised seeds before.I was intriged so I bought some and now I have 2 (omg beautiful) blue cheese, 1 sour diesel,
2 master kush, 1 great white shark, and 1 cheese vegging up all from feminised seed.My question is what's the chance of getting a boy?The seeds were all bought from attitude.

Heres a pic of the blue cheese

From what I understand, if they're feminized, the chance of them being male is 0%.

There is the chance it may be hermie though, or, that the breeder is lousy and didn't fem them properly. What breeder are they from?

They are feminized seeds the chances of them to become male are astronomically low. However they have a higher tendency to hermaphrodite more so than regular seeds.

I've been using them for a few years now and never had any trouble with hermaphorites.

I'm pretty sure it's zero chance, not even a tiny chance, cause there's no male chromosome or some crazy shit like that. When I read it, it made sense! lol.

The Blue Cheese IS nice....I have read that the chances of getting a male from a batch of fem. seeds is 100 to 1.Seems to me that if a reg. seed is treated and a male is possible, treating a 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation fem. etc.would give fewer and fewer males. So if seed banks are using fems to make fems.chances are 0 for all practical purposes..

Treating seeds? What do you mean?

fems are cool, you just need to do your research on who make the best fems.
you shouldnt get any males from fems, but ppl have claimed they have got a male from a fem seed.
just keep them happy and you shouldnt have any problems with herms.although from what ive seen, they are really no more likely to herm than a female plant from a reg seed.
if there is a higher chance, its only slight.so unless its shit genetics,or grower mistake, you should have no herms.

Only herm I have ever had from a feminized seed was Royal Queen Blue Mystic and it was entirely my fault. I had a lightleak that I didnt realize until after nanners started popping all over. Fortunately most of them were sterile. Out of over 2 ounces I may have came across 10 seeds total. The nugs themselves were still very good. The few buds not affected by nanners or seeds were lights out.
So basically, out of the numerous feminized seeds and strains I have gone through, the only hermie I have had was my fault.

That's great to hear cause I have more fem seeds coming. Actually they were processed through NY 6 days ago but can't find out where they are! I have some Barney's farm red dragon, some
Flying dutchman skunk #1, and some sativa seeds Hawaii maui waui, plus some freebies I can't wait to try like reserva pravada og kush and some auto femmed seeds. Never did auto's before so kinda excited.
Was thinking about autos for next year outdoors. Vegging them inside then putting outside to flower to get a few harvests outdoors. Anybody ever do this?

Now I don't believe the whole light leak thing. If I need to do something in my flowering room I do it. I have a cfl bulb in there to give me enough light to work with.I don't have a hermi problem at all. The only hermi
I got in a long while was from seeds off a outdoor hermi.

Flame shield on lol.

I've heard of people doing that and want to do it myself next year, as well.

You could do the same thing with photos too, maybe some autos and some photos, spread out your harvest (that's my plan). Unless you can't grow big plants without someone seeing them.. or any other reason.

Not sure what photos are but were planning on doing our regular plants ( I veg them up some before putting them out so they tend to get big). Plus vegging up some autos and putting them out when they are ready to flower and once they were done having another crop of autos all vegged up to go out.Like I said I never worked with autos before so I don't know if my idea is as baked as I am.

Any backing behind this?
Yeah, the fact that every feminized plants carries a hermie gene, and when you cross two plants with a hermie gene you're more likely to get a hermie when it's all said and done.

EDIT: For instance, you're more likely to get a midget when two midgets bang, compared to 1 midget and 1 "normal", lol. No offense if you're a midget.

BTW, if I'm not trying to be an ass... if my logic is flawed, than... so be it. lol.

OK sound logical. I can say I was lucky then cause I did it only twice with seeds that were both auto & feminize. Up to now I've used 300 of 6000(aprox) seeds without any hermie prob. touch wood!
