female preflower?

I have 2 plants that are 7 weeks in veg. One of them is showing signs of female preflower but, there are 3 sets of them so far. Just want to verify thats its a female.

Is pic 2 a male? or is it just not showing the sex yet?

On the 3rd it looks like the pistal is shooting out side ways. Is that bad?

To the best of my knowledge those long splinter looking things are not showing the sex and are not preflowers. They are just part of the plant that shows up later in life. The balls of a male plant will be around that area of plant but the preflowers will develope furthup up where the leafes are.

Pics 1 and 3 show female, but pic 2 looks like balls may be forming. For now it's female - if those pics are all of the same plant.

lol I was confused for a second. I didn't know the real meaning of "preflower". For some reason I thought pre flowers had to do with the sex.

on my first grow i thought those spikes were the buds starting to grow... i was wrong.. they are on all pot plants and are completely normal on male and female plants... look for little ball sacks to determine if its male

on pic 1 & 3 i can see the clearish white strands sticking out.. i agree that is a female plant but i dont know about plant 2
