Female or Male plants? Advice Please :D?

So I'm pretty sure these are all female. As you can see on some pf the pictures, I have clipped lower fan leaves from the man stalk. Theres 3 to five nodes of leaves, and the ones underneath have been trimmed off. I was told that they do nothing but slow growth down. The plants are between 6 and 7 weeks old now. Range from 1.5 to 2 feet in height. Twenty four hours of light a day, no darkness. Jacks classic 20-20-20 for vegetative, and I have the Jacks Blossom Booster for flowering when the time comes. I'm still not seeing any preflowers, but definently no male signs whatsoever. And they are very stinky :D. Would really appreciate advice, seeing I havent found anyone on here yet to give advice. The one plant is missing a chunk of the center stem and has branched off in another direction. A light feel on it, but luckily it wasnt too bad. Clipping, topping, and gender advice? Thanks :D2011-08-17_23-49-54_985.jpg2011-08-17_23-49-24_551.jpg2011-08-17_23-49-36_165.jpg2011-08-16_22-36-13_508.jpg2011-08-16_22-35-53_220.jpg2011-08-17_23-49-48_531.jpg

they are stretched a bit and #2 looks like it needs some adjustment in the nutrients as well. Be for the most part it looks nice and a nice ghetto setup.

The fan leaves do provide cloro and I wouldn't chop them all, but they look good, although I really don't see any indication one way or another fem or male...which is probably good because males usually show earlier. What's your lighting pattern and such?

I have the lights on 24 hours a day, and has been that way since they broke the dirt :D. Lights are ghetto-ish..fluroescent lamp bulb, as well as 24 inch 70 watt plant lights. But they are doing so well. Its amazing. How many fan leaves should I keep on? And when do they really need to go? Ive been keep around 4 or 5 sets of them on, and getting rid of the lower ones. Seeing they are 6-7 weeks old, I plan on non stop 24-0 for light, continuing the 20-20-20 fertilizer every third watering, and just waiting to see what happens :D. Im hoping for around 4-5 foot tall, but I love them so much. Any advice :D?

Hey man nice Plants they look like sativa dominant and i would say if you switched the lights to 12/12 now they will be 4 to 5 feet by the time they finish flowering, and you wont know if they are male or female until 1-2 weeks into 12/12 unless they are auto flowers, also you may need more lights in there like some CFL energy saver bulbs work great and easy to get have a look at my CFL grow below its a pretty ghetto setup but cheap and worked awesome ,, i wouldnt cut many leaves off either because they help feed your plant especially when in flowering! Good luck hope this helps, im sure you will get lots of help from more experienced growers!!

Yeah for being as ghetto as it is, it's an amazing setup. I'm a law enforcement student full time, and if I had the money, everything would be improved. But the dirt, nutrients, and everything is working out greatly. I didnt know I could start to cut the light to 12 and 12 yet. I was told to wait until 10 weeks to cut it off, but cutting it to 12-12 from 24-0 would be good now? God I love them :D. And my dad randomly showed up at my apartment three hours from home and found them two nights ago, the most anti drug guy..anti everything guy..and let me keep them :D. Investing in some timers would be a good idea then? Thanks so much for all the advice everyone, it means a lot <3

yeah i would switch to 12/12 now you can do 12/12 from seed if you wanted my grow is pretty ghetto too and worked awesome so i think its ok, if you have some old lamps like i done you could take them apart and hang a couple 2700k CFL bulbs down in there for extra light and yes i would get a timer in case you forget to turn on or off the lights! thats cool of your dad man!!

yeah they will show after 1-2 weeks you will either see 2 white hairs(female) or clusters of balls(male) start to sprout out of the nodes between branches

Noob question. Whats goody all. When you switch this light pattern does this automatically send them into a flowering process. Or does it have something to do with the age of his plant being 6-7weeks.

You aree doing fine. Lot's of room for improvement but a very good start. Work on the lights to stop the stretch. A four foot tall "pole" is not what you're going for. That's a symptom of light deficiency. Really is quite a lot of fun though No?

My friends and I found three plants in the middle of no where behind a guard rail. Four foot tall, one male, two females. They yanked them out so roughly and they couldnt be saved :/. So my next question is, now that they are 7 weeks old, and I just started the 12/12 light and dark, do I switch from the Jacks Classic 20-20-20 NPK, to the Jacks classic blossom booster 10-30-20 NPK? I read on it some, and it mentioned using it during the flowering stages. Just unsure if its too soon. In the past week Ive changed from 1/4 strength of the 20-20-20, to the half strength..maybe with a bit extra. Thanks so much :D <3

yeah i would switch but i would start off light like half strength on the nutes, i would use a lil bit of molasses too it helps your soil microbes to grow and increase your yeild.. and for the flowering question as soon as you switch 12/12 your plants change to flowering do not matter when you change the light cycle they will switch to flower anytime even from seedling!

Can that be a bad thing if its to early or if you start them off on 12/12

I lol'd, not even gonna lie.

Nice plants though, keep it up man. I thought about going into law enforcement but I couldn't see myself arresting someone who was growing or smoking for personal use.
