Im going to feed my babies for the first time. I have Alaska Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1. Should I use 1/4 or 1/2 tablespoon? And when I feed I have to make sure not to get any water on leaves right cuz if I get nuted water on the leaves they'll burn?

are you shur you dont mean teaspoon? its ok if you get some on your leafs it shoudnt hurt them mine wer fine i used Age old grow. if you have a HID make shur thers no big drops on the plants that can burn them

Oh and depending on your soil you may or may not need nutes yet. i made that mistake recently giving nutes too soon..

No I meant tablespoon. On the bottle it says feed 1 tablespoon per gallon for outdoor container plants, but I thought it was always to give 1/4 or 1/2 of whats recommended on the bottle. Im growing outdoors so no lights. They are in FFOF soil and will be 35 days old on their next watering.

I would look at the bottom leaves and look for signs of nitrogen deficiency. If their one month old and your getting yellow leaves at the bottom then I would think the plant has already used up most of the nitrogen, so it should be safe going full strength. Then again, if you just bought some expensive beans I'd hate to risk it, so I'd just go half strength.

I'd go 1/4th if I had absolutely no clue as to how strong it was. I've used Alaska Fish Emulations before and it's pretty safe stuff. I have burned plants with it though, but that was my fault, I just eye balled the amount. The good news is that plants recover pretty quickly, especially in their vegetative phase.
